Just to share my experience with ikids cyberjaya (shaftbury square):-
Sent my 3 years old son there for Kindergarten class to learn (not day care service) - 0900 - 1230.
Noticed that :-
1). Security is horrible - Anyone can just pop up to ikids. They have too many kids for kindergarten class and yet too little teacher / care-takers. They don't even question you who are you / why you are here etc. Any stranger can just kidnap a kid from the centre if he wants and nothing can stop him from doing so.
Personally I complaint to their manager ( a Chinese young lady who seems very blur blur, Narita?) several times but it's still the same. Can you believe that after we stop sending our son there and 1 month later only then ikids realized and called up ...errhh... Sir, I think your son is not turning up to the centre recently....... and we were like WTF???.... after 1 mth only then you realized??? erlo???
2). Hopeless management - We have requested the teacher / Narita DO NOT release our son to Bus Sekolah aunty until 1230PM but they don't really care about it. The bus sekolah aunty can simply picked up our son at 1200pm and be home at 1PM. I personally had my tea downstair to check what time my son being released and what time he got home. That meant he was put on the bus and touring around cyberjaya for 1 hour on a bus. This is unacceptable to a 3 years old boy especially the home is only few minutes away from the centre.
3). Tuition book - They charged Rm 800+ for a one year book's fee. They explained that they will use these books to teach the kid to read / write / speak bla bla bla..... Ok we dont mind to pay however I went up to the centre few times and noticed that they just turned on cartoon for the kids to watch and minimum teaching in the class. Furthermore, instead of the philipino teacher teaching our son, the teacher left a note to us saying that - "pls guide your son to do coloring, writing etc and she wants to check tomorrow" we were like...Erh.... WTF. isn't it that should be the other way round? Why should we send our kid there instead?
For me - this ikids is a big no no. There are so many kidnapping cases in klang valley lately. One of my wife's colleage son almost kidnapped by a stranger in OUG last week. The stranger even called up to the school pretending as the mother of the kid and requested teacher to let go the kid. This is so horrible with the security and crime cases in Malaysia nowadays. All this PDRM just too busy playing tweeter or cari makan instead of doing proper job. Better be careful than sorry. Few more options for you to choose are:-
