The power of JUMP!!

Experience 5 years

February 2014 = RM3632
JUMP to MNC 3rd March 2014 = RM5200
Got offer to other company 22 Jun 2014 = RM 6000 (not include house allowance)

in 3 month my salary is DOUBLE..hehe
*
*
Actually 5 year my salary is RM3632 since i start at Sony with increment 3% (starting RM2340) then i jump to Bank in Malaysia. When Bank, the bonus at least 4 Month, increment at least 12%. 1st year i Join bank is 3200, next promo RM3632.. So my increment in bank is RM432.

Now i jumpt to another bank, give me RM6000, with increment 12% p/y and bonus at least 4 month.. i already calculated, my total income per year is around RM96k if include bonus and state in my offer latter.

If 1 year income is RM96k average per month is RM8000.

if accurate then my pay is way underpaid hmm.gif

sometimes, the sample size too small.
or they compare low-exp vs hi-exp.

There are some inaccuracy in salary reports
But in the world where info is costly or unavail.
HR will use Jobstreet, Kelly, etc as guide to
say that u getting above average pay.

You know what I mean.

actually i do think web designer are underpaid. work and getting paid like graphic designer despite know extras like coding.
why this is happening is because too many pariah freelancer charging cheap on their work. thinking that cheaper product gets more customers.

in the end this bring down the value of this job. dog eat dog world.

u mean permanent work + freelance at home? that's very rare, most of them busy getting tied up most of their time with permanent job. Second, unable to take on as many as fully freelance. end up earning few peanuts (because of market price) and yet make yourself more tired. cant focus on permanent job. not worth it.

cost are low? yeah, full time freelancer missing out socso, epf, allowance, medical claim. good thinking for charging low.

Hmm, just feeling lost for the moment. many of us do feel the same when facing obstacles(freshies without much experience), and not all know how to solve'em, we need to learn and most of the time are desperate for guidance.

In life, shit happens.

It's worst for me, bcos I know its about to arrive.
I'm also getting my head straight and back hunting.

The youtube with LMF, that inspired me.
Especially the last part on wan tan mee.

Later I found Steve Jobs commencement speech.
So I wish you all the best.
