Depend on industry, location and position.
I would say senior software/system engineer(mainly in IT & Finance) in KL & Cyberjaya can command that kind of figure pretty easily.

KK based. Different by the next alphabet, salary different sky and earth. Got KK one to intro? Too tired in this island already. Want to go back to the trees.

This is actually a relative company, 1 years plus ago i was job hunting and coincidentally the previously person in charge resigned and I was roped in to the company with promises of a career ahead. I took the challenge without any prior knowledge and experience in admin & finance.

Down the road the company is having cash flow problem due to collections issues from customers...and now having difficulties to pay salary and many other payment.

Days are getting darker.....

Ya agree, collection is a really big problem. Customers and even gomen delay payments up to years.

So far only Oil and Gas industry is evergreen

I don't know about other industries but in our case, this particular customer drag out payment since 2007....for this month, only today my staffs are getting their January salary....but not managers...

I just realized that there are alot of lowyat forumer get high paid job in market.

You just joined the company...if pay felt too low, why did you take the job?

Or in other words, only high income person come post here. Those low/average income person rarely post here, as someone will say they are low earner or worst humiliate them.

The average income in KL just RM3-4k, if outstation only half of it. IF not agree, then probably he/her only know those high income friend and never know those work as clark/hawker/waiter/promoter/machanic etc people.
