This morning i cant start my car, the brake tighter than usual. I check on the previous forum, they said it related with the brake sensor/switch problem. Anyone have ever experienced this and replace the sensor with new one? How much the cost?

Better buy from individual instead of dealer...

When u turn on your car, did the instrument panels light up? If they do, it means your batt may not be flat out, but prolly insufficient charge to kick start your car.

Solution Options:
a) get a friend, preferably with a 1.5L and above vehicle to help with jump start procedures.
b) take Bro Epo's suggestion and call your insurance provider(?) for help.

NOTE - Pls also check to ensure that your key fob (a.k.a. Remote Keyless Entry/Start) is still working and doesn't have a flat battery too. You can find out by using the remote to lock/unlock your car from a distance (say 10 meters).

Good luck!

Brake switch can change at SC for free. There is a worldwide recall campaign to change this defective brake switch.

By the way, after almost 4 years owning the car, i've replaced both my rear absorbers. Original one kong already. I did ask quotation from SC to replace the rear absorber. They quoted me RM8XX including labour. So i ended up bought the original rear absorber at spare part shop by myself & replaced it at outside workshop (non SC). Guess how much it cost me by doing this way? rolleyes.gif
