i have TL-WR1043ND(running Huntsman 2013-12-20)+E398. Within 1/2 hour, the modem just feel quite hot. Is this normal?

in the long run you will be changing devices again already so why worry that?

just want to tell you all that latest rooter version (2013-12) is working with latest E398 firmware ( E398_Update_11.433.61.10.55) on MR3420.

also, is Maximum Qos : 7168 kbps Down 7168 kbps Up normal on rooter?

Ignore the QoS reading on E398 it is incorrect

Edit : Correct if it is under 8640

rooter QoS is correct, it is probably your ISP Maxis capping you

I'm using ROOter HM2013-11-10red with latest E398 firmware ( E398_Update_11.433.61.10.55) not working.

try using HM2013-12-20red

ok tested, only HM2013-12-20red able to support the E398 latest firmware(E398_Update_11.433.61.10.55) by default AP CODE.

Advantage of the combo: PING is lower.

where to read max qos?

i jus install the latest version rooter
with the help on the tutorial page , i finish set up the modem
but why is the wifi is not able to activate
i try to click the enable button and it still show disable , not able to detect anything

note: i not yet plug in the usb modem mf680, but supposingly the ssid is still able to show up right

try following this guide and manual assign a channel

Note that option 'htmode' should be set to either HT40+ (for channels 1-7) or HT40- (for channels 5-11). You have to use WPA2 encryption with AES.
