AndyXP bought a CMV 17" LCD from him also...and he is having problem on the LCD, as his LCD is still in warranty period, he tried to call him but seems like he is avoiding to pick up his phone.

Jason will no longer be working with Vismart come end of August. As so he cleared up some of he 'debts' but not to me yet. Since he is out of a job there is no point (yet) to make a police report since he has no means of income to pay me back. So I'll wait till he finds himself a new job then confront him on payment or face the boys in blue.

andyxp, if u have the warranty card with the VIsmart chop i say its a safe bet u can take it to any Vismart branch/outlet n claim from there. Or even with just the warranty card since the monitor's serial should be there.

If u dont have a warranty card. I suggest u call Vismart up n see how to proceed. Dont forget to mention who u bought it from

i called Vismart just now... and i talked to a guy with the name Kevin...

i mentioned about the "no company stamp" on the warranty card and i also mentioned that the monitor was sold by Jason....

he said i can bring the monitor to their shop and look for the technical department...

PS: Me dun really think his salary is RM4k per month coz nobody gonna lost a RM4k per month salary just for an unsettled RM700 debt. His salary is more like RM1.5k per month, where he struggle to pay for his cars and eats drinks, thus he start to con ppl.
Above is just my assumption, it's may not be the truth.

it not impossible to earn RM4k as sales. Eventhough the basic is low, you will get commission from sales. I am sure with all his sales in lowyat, it will sort of get him closer to his sales target which if reached will yield him good commission.

Anyway, however much he earns, he still is a conman that need to repay his debt.

There is a chinese saying of when translated is "when you eat salty fish, you must bear the thirst". That's means you do what you do but must be responsible for the action. If not don't do it. Since he already did the con, he must bear the responsibilities despite his going jobless.

So what if he is jobless? He might have a stash of cash with him with all his conjobs. During his days selling here...do you remember how cocky he is dealing with people and all. Why do you think he need to create another nick to sell things?

RangerRed, your money is definitely "colder than water" already lor. IMHO it doesn't really matter you are working or not.... you still have to pay what you owe... furthermore it is not a loan.... it is your money that he is having without giving you anything.

Yes it might be very troublesome to make a police report and i see it from your point of view. But after all this effort and tireless calling does it really worth rm700.
My advise is make a police report at Bukit Aman dun go other police station. Because all this Con case or "internet case" all will be transfer to Bukit Aman. Bukit Aman is next to Old Pudu Jail or nearby.

Why Waste so much time,effort and painfull experience! Yes after police report your chances of seeing back the rm700 is quite slim because doubt he could paid u back even the police caught him.

Now he out of job,you might have a problem finding him anymore. He might Run Road to Johor or Penang to con other ppl. Act now not tomorow.
