this is not should or should not lar....is a option for people.
you can stay as far as you like. as long as you can pay higher cost of transport.
just recently look like the aussie people change lifestyle due to higher petrol, city car park rate and long distance transport fee.... and more people come back stay somewhere closer to city.

ic. is 20km smooth traffic. rm4 per trip.
hope next type of elertic or hybrid car can replace. save more.
car park naik harga ler. not evryone can afford to park at city. car park keep naik harga.
my city condo now 2nd car park rate from rm80 jump to rm150 per month liao. 3rd car park start from rm180.
stay closer take mrt or lrt can save 5 days car park fee.

Hmm, not sure about the momentum bcz one launch with almost 1000 units is not an easy task, if EW is going to launch last year end, I am pretty sure the momentum is pretty high like how the response from public in their Eco Botanic and Eco Sky ...

If I am to buy into SEH / EM, I reckon I need to hold at least 2 years after VP and assume to prepare without any rental income.

I also think that SEH Phase 1 buyers could be there and if EM do well, this is a really good news to the SEH buyers. Or else, I don't think SPS will be able to launch the next phase next year, with bigger size and even higher price.

True, option mah, you have the choice to choose want or don't want loh..

There will be 3 MRT stations in Kajang, all about 10km from the Semenyih area, giving more choice to the residents. Just worry when people starting taking the public transport, parking rate at the MRT station will be high too... doh.gif doh.gif

Lol, Ampang, Cheras, Kuchai lama, Puchong, Subang Jaya, PJ, Damansara, Mont Kiara, Bandar Manjalara, Sentul, Wangsa Maju, Setapak, all these townships also everyday jam jam jam, whether got public transport or no public transport, but people still staying there loh...

what u talking...siao? the places u mention close to kl ler. thats why people try stay close to KL as close as possible mah.

Jam is not the main issue.

There are other reasons to consider.

1. Safety/Security
2. Conducive neighbourhood for growing children
3. Close to public local amenities
4. Affordable
5. Part of a bigger masterplan

see can balance boh. sound good. but come to reality not easy.
in future good to see if it very can sustain for this far away township which is out of klang valley zone.

some of my friend who stay in setia alam landed corner unit... start to move back to PJ condo after few year and have family.
too much hassle from setia alam come to kl and pj for work. this start to let me rethink. whether it work boh for the township sibeh far from kl?

It is obvious that nothing can beat PJ where I live too. PJ is also facing bad jam at certain times everyday.

If I drive to KL on normal weekday, it will be slightly more than an hour. The distance to KL is 26 km.

Still PJ is a comfortable place to live.

The question you need to answer is will Semenyih be like PJ in 5 years?

maybe 10 years + when semenyih become like what PJ 10 years ago.
but PJ maybe after 10 year more canggih ler. also well connect mrt and lrt

at most klang valley soon they have more option mah. lrt and mrt can go. no need just drive car.

not about can never work lar. macam u decide and make conclusion liao.
need more time on travel lor u sendiri oledi mention lo.
which people think whether it worth it or not lor for long run.
in return u get the G&G landed house but far away from kl. instead of condo at kl, pj or klang valley which most people can only afford...in exchange shorter distant + better public transport system.
