My friend forwarded my CV to one of the senior managers at PrefChem.

A week later, I got called by HR to undergo online assessment.

1 week later I was invited for CBI. 2 hours talk with the manager and HR, basic strength and weakness questions and how you handle such and such situations, give examples etc. Basically sharing of my work experience.

1 week later invited for chit chat. All seems positive, they kept asking when can I start.

A week later, followed up with HR, they say pending manager approval.

HR ask me proceed for medical check-up.

My question is, after all these steps, still no talks on salary package, no OL. May I know is this normal? Also, usually what is the salary range like? Position applied is for Executive level. Have 5 years work experience but no O&G experience.

usually they will ask you to go to medical once you received offer letter. did they give your LOU for the medical? mine was given together with OL. you might want to follow up with the focal HR and ask for your OL.

My friend working there said they only cover 5k for delivery. Now increase to 7k

Yup. through Discover Petronas. I applied on 2013, only got called on 2018.

Do anyone know how long  PIPE will be held? info from a friend, will be a week long. is it true?

My friend is non executive, no wonder it’s only 7k as mentioned by one of them here.

I dont think 11 k has been applied, they still doing the 7k benefits..I know there are a new plan to upgrade the medical benefits..

Petronas nowadays, are lack of medical benefits, they cap their coverage, so its not as before..

Nope. Im 100% sure its already implemented by this year.

I dont know why, but this year i can easily get GL too haha.
