this year, rumor said is 40% discount...oh wait.

Bajet 2014 is quiet on PTPTN.
So the 20% discount is ended.

But the 10% still remains.

Seriously? I got my "surat pelepasan" within 24 hours by email. Maybe there's a misunderstanding. 6 months to confirm that we have settled the payment but the letter can be obtained immediately.

Letter inside:

It's either conventional (3%) or ujrah (1%). ujrah is introduced to reduce the interest. iinm.

hmm.. just realized this. it seems to be that way. 3 % flexi, 1% fixed. That means if u are under ujrah, it doesnt matter how much you pay monthly, the "kos pentadbiran" will be the same.. right?

to those who're paying promptly, Ujrah is actually a "scam".. this is because it calculates your loan balance as at Jun 2008 and not at the start of the loan repayment itself.. those who learn accounting/finance should know this..

How to check the balance after finish paying?

I had the release letter saying that i had settled the payment. It took almost 3 months to chase for the release letter, so who ever who had PTPTN settled, you should chase for your release or settlement letter.

I did not change to ujrah coz of the t&c. Its just to give ptptn more authority

1) they can share ur information to any banks or employer
2) they can authority to blacklist ur name
3) they can change the content of the agreement without prior notice

I was also tempted to change to ujrah when it was 1st introduced. But after carefully reading the agreement. I cancel
