just found out this... again, penalizing those who are paying promptly -.-

"Merujuk berkaitan diskaun 10% bagi pinjaman PTPTN. Tuan perlu membuat pertukaran ujrah (1%) bagi melayakkan pemberian diskaun 10% dan membuat bayaran mengikut jadual bayaran balik ujrah. Bagi pertukaran ujrah, tuan perlu kembalikan dokumen yang telah lengkap kepada PTPTN melalui pos @ serahan tangan di mana-mana kaunter PTPTN. Amaun ujrah adalah berdasarkan baki semasa dan upah 1% setahun. Saya akan kemukakan permohonan tuan kepada unit berkaitan untuk proses membuat perjanjian baru mengikut jumlah dan jadual bayaran balik yang baru. "

i emailed them asking why diskaun 10% havent reflected yet...this is what they answered....

yups! i read again and again it wasn't stated anywhere. It just states pemimjam ptptn.. i got bahasa A2 for SPM also cannot fight this putar-belit govt... terror!

again, i never complained abt paying back my hutang.. a promise is a promise...

unlike some ppl think it's their god given right as earth prince not to pay back ptptn...

please get ur eyes checked. there's no discount at all

know what's another concern? it takes ages for them to process your refund...one of the reason why i worried about settling lump sum

to those who're paying promptly, Ujrah is actually a "scam".. this is because it calculates your loan balance as at Jun 2008 and not at the start of the loan repayment itself.. those who learn accounting/finance should know this..
