u must go counter for asking, then counter will give u a total amount, let said, hutang 1000, after discount at counter, u need to paid for RM 800. Biasa is instant paid after the amount given from counter.

if u pay without asking counter u will endup this lo.
for surat pelepasan, u can get it easi, bcos both r diference department. even u got surat pelepasan hutang, but when u check at website n u still hutang...mean u still hutang PTPTN & the kos pentabirand keep rolling.

Full paymnet, paid 1000, then after varify, ptptn will refund the remaining 200 for u.
Insurance & kos pentabiran after that will be zero.

borrow money RM1, ptptpn give discount till RM0.90, discount not that much, rage.

Wow PTPTN is really shitty. I paid in full (minus the discount) on September 15th but the discount was only applied (pelarasan) on October 30th so they still included admin charges AND insurance for last month.

It's only RM 28 but I find it very shady that they suddenly included the previous year's insurance charge in the recent statement.

maybe the amount is in bracket (RM28) ? 
Edit: didnt read carefully    so you checked with them? in my case no extra payment although i paid in the 16th or 17th that time.

seriously? only applicable to those with ujrah? where u heard it from?

know what's another concern? it takes ages for them to process your refund...one of the reason why i worried about settling lump sum
