Dear all bro, i just bought my phone 2 days ago and found that the whatsapp installed unable to mute the Group Chat as like other phone.
Do you all facing this problem as well?

I tried but can't...others phone there is 3 dots beside attachment button but mine dont have...

use the option button from the lenovo itself... (the one on the left beside home button)
after you touch/press it.. the option window will pop up., and choose mute

I recently just encountered this problem too, when I turned on my data, gps is turned on automatically too & whenever I make a phone call, its on again. Have u found the solution to fix it? Btw I am on stock rom

It'll better if people use to AP vs local since both can be original rather than using the term AP vs Ori. BUy from reputable seller, in my case I aimed for Lenovo authorized dealer which is selling local set. PC Depot also sell it so it should give an impression that they're legit dealer. Check their price and compared it with Lelong's sellers. RM799 for 4GB and RM829 for 8GB local (ori) set, plus minus.

Add... I just got home and found out my dad bought a850. Aiya what a waste. Although it's rm200 cheaper than mine I could always recommend him to buy at least p780 , LG G2 or xperia z. He looked at my screen quality and he mustve felt day and night different lol. He got an AP set too plus flip case and so for rm630 I think. Conned

Tempted to get this phone... again, thanks to the big battery...

So, before I get in, these are my questions:

1. I heard the screen not anti-scratch.. meaning, the only solution is to put on screen protector?

2. I need one app badly ("My baby monitor" by Matis team)... can anybody help me to download this app and confirm that it is usable via P780? Previously, I can't use it in my experia.. so, very concern as this app is very important to me...

3. I read much about partition ... if I buy the 8GB version, the partition is already there or I need to partition myself when I get the phone?

4. I am thinking to get it from superbuy (http://www.superbuy.my/shop/lenovo-mobile-p780-12ghz-quad-core-8gb-original-set/p/193022?gclid=CIik1reJ_rwCFWlU4godhHcARw&) since they offered quite a good price on 8GB... any feedbacks on superbuy???

5. Was browsing for S930 as well... any opinions on which phone is a better buy (S930 vs P780) in terms of reliability?

1. I dunno bout being non anti scratch but I don't recommended anything without sp.
2. I can install that ap but it needs WiFi so I can't tell much if it's really working. Shouldn't be any problem I think.
3. Yea it's already partitioned to 4gb main and 3.+GB secondary. You got like almost 2+2something GB free space. I don't worry since it support 32gb memory card.
4. Like I said in previous post I preferred authorised lenovo but the price is high compared to superbuy (damn cheap for 8gb and for sure it's AP set). It doesn't mention warranty contract length but it should be to years for AP and only one year for authorised set.
5. I never testEd s930 but im biased towards p780. It's like don't f***ing compare my phone to urs unless it's lg g2 or lumia 1020.

No not yet, I strongly believe is caused by application update like fb, viber or whatsapp but no time to check (uninstall and observe) yet

EIther your phone won't boot or your phone will become 4GB only.

Yoo, bro.. but the superbuy site mentioned it's "Original Set", "100% authentic" and "1 year warantty by Lenovo"... So, it shouldn't be the AP set, right? Serious... I don't want to ended up buying the chinese version without "play store"... Any further advice?

Actually both AP & Ori set are the same, they can use each other ROM vice versa. Like if you buy an AP China set, flash a International ROM and you got Playstore and Gapps. Except the warranty & details written on the back of the battery, both are actually same.

Not all AP set don't have google play store... Most of the AP set I see from big reputable store are with GAPPS.

Yea because they've already flashed International version before sell it to consumer.
