thing is not many like the floyd rose option, so its abit hard to find.
not many actually know epi has the floyd rose option in the first place.

True. I just found out. But like you said...... might just get the regular one, and just add in the Schaller Floyd Rose instead....

not recommended on a epi.
no telling how that thick poly finish is gonna crack when it meets the router. and you would obviously have bare wood under the floyd as well as the spring cavity which all needs to be touched up again. anyway, tham is gonna set up his routers and all again sometime soon so can check with him later. you can ask his opinion and see how also. |

Ya know, La Foresta is selling some Gothic series Epi, just not sure if they have the Floyd ones or not. You can always call or e-mail them to ask.

Well, you know me and my Loyalty to Epiphone and Gibson....
if I get the chance, will DEFINATELY want to try to make a trip to Singapore and hunt for the Floyd Rose installed Epi... But it looks my schedule won't permit it..... Will head down to the shop that sells Epis in Midvalley and see if they have it or if they can order it. |

I know....... but I hate driving to Singapore
I normally stay in JB, and then head down to Singapore for the day, then go back. |

Turns out the RR3 is only bolt on. Not such a good buy anymore. To be true to the RR spirit, it has to be neckthrough.
The RR5 is the better buy here. No floyd though. If must insist on FR, the SL3 is also a better buy. Starting this year, comes with real Duncans and Ori Floyd (low profile version me thinks) |

My priority is a Floyd Rose guitar..... NOT a neck-through......
And I don't want a typical "strat"-ish shape..... Explorer or a V... |
