Tested it on pebble wash walkway. Results after 6 months.

Dirt uses water as medium to seep through the pebble wash and stain it.

This product will slow down the rust by 10 times, not preventing it. Did you powdercoat your grills?
Please be informed it will deepens the colour of a molded steel.

Had a smooth deal with Dillon today. Feeling excited to try it out as my bathroom gave me too much hard time to maintain it.

Hi there, Nanophos products do not do surface coating but "pores" coating, thus, it does not alter the color and texture of the surface.

What does it mean pores? It is just fill up the pore and the gap? But leave the surface intact? If the surface intact, how does it prevent from rust?

SurfaGuard M does not prevent the surface from rust, it slows down the process by 10 times.

"SurfaGuard Metals chemically modifies the metal surface to form a passive layer and creates a 3D protective network of nanoparticles that “blocks” the transfer of oxygen and water from reaching the metal. As a result, the metal surface remains passivated and a barrier is created
against corrosive agents."

And here is one of the Internation Standard Testing they did:

"Humidity test - ASTM D 224: The SurfaGuard Metals
treated panels is subjected to high humidity conditions (90-95% relative humidity) at elevated temperatures (42-48 oC). This test method evaluates the treatment cohesion against corrosive factors. SurfaGuard Metals treated panel remain unaffected, even after exposure for 1000 hours."

Hope these information able to answer your question. smile.gif

Yes, SurfaPore M is suitable to use on the granite surface. It works as water, oil repellent, and heat resistance up to 350 Celsius.
