Are you using 64bit OS? Lots of people have issue with 64 bit system.

If you updated the full rom any method u root is going to trip the knox counter.

I got no bandwidth to upload. Maybe on wednesday just before my quota renew.

Lots of people have issue with kingoapp thats why i dun want to use it. If it fails to root using the safe way it will auto install recovery to root and trip knox.

Still thinking if I wanna try out antt00 method first or skip the hassle and straight root using CFRoot. Don't like the restriction due to the stupid knox thingy.

But feel like wanted to learn up the cygwin thingy

I dun think Samsung Malaysia is good. More like they dunno what is knox trigger and thus not checking it.

Is better to have it triggered as you are now completely free to flash any stuff. And as quoted earlier no worries claiming warranty too

They know what is root, but they still warranty for me last time. Sometimes this also base on luck and what is the cause of the faulty I believe.

This is my 7th experience claiming warranty in Samsung service centers past 6 years. My previous 5 cases phone rooted n flash with custom rom I still get warranty honoured. One time my first Tab even bootup with the famous yellow triangle. As I have rooted I was prepared to pay n just plain lazy to revert back to official stock n unrooting etc. Only one case phone S3 motherboard change on unrooted phone ( son's unit and motherboard just died suddenly)

just wan to know can I activate loud speaker or mute the mic when receiving a call thru the s view window?

I pick a call thru the s view and try to activate loud speaker while driving and its just don respond...normal?

You need to long press on the button to activate either the loudspeaker or mute button for it to work

Any custom rom recommended?

Earlier version , yes but dont like it . If u dont mind a older build , try Foxhound but themed rom still got some bugs here and there

Thanks. Most of the ROM out there are themed. I found X-Note is the least one. What are the things that you dislike about it? Seems like stock rooted ROM is still the best
