Planning to jump ship to Samsung.

Anyone using this phone with Sony MW1 smart headset? I played around with display unit and got audio cracking.

Can you give me an updater-script from any of the roms you have flashed. I need to reconfirm the modem partition same or not as Note 2.

Good to know that and I believe Samsung Malaysia is good. smile.gif

Last time my S III is half dead (that famous eMMC issue) and they know my phone is root but still under warranty.

This is my 7th experience claiming warranty in Samsung service centers past 6 years. My previous 5 cases phone rooted n flash with custom rom I still get warranty honoured. One time my first Tab even bootup with the famous yellow triangle. As I have rooted I was prepared to pay n just plain lazy to revert back to official stock n unrooting etc. Only one case phone S3 motherboard change on unrooted phone ( son's unit and motherboard just died suddenly)

I would say you have luck on your side uncle. There are people who had been denied warranty. One of them is fruitie. But her case one service center rejected her note 2 cos counter more than 1 but another service center repaired it. Hence why i said Samsung Malaysia lack knowledge especially something as new as knox. It depends on the person servicing you.

Touchwood i had not visited samsung service center in a long time and hope never to have to go there. smile.gif

Bro, wanna ask. When you flash to UK's MJ7 firmware, you need to re-root again using CF Root right? Is your data and internal SD everything still intact?

I'm downloading the UK's MJ7. Not going to care about the knox thingy and gonna trip it now. Just wanna make sure if I flash it using ODIN and is it I have to re-root using CF Root. And after that if my data will still be intact.

Not cf root. Root de la vega. Nothing was wiped everything is intact including internal sd. I removed external sd as per instructions.
