Actually i have tried all possibilities in the wifi advanced settings,

check and uncheck one by one, all combinations, factory reset, static ip, dns, re-add network, open wifi and so on.

the only fixes i didnt do are those required rooted device.

like i said, it will only disable if that option is ticked, if its not ticked it will not disable the wifi even if it is slow

edit: oh wait your problem is with the ip address loop? then it is related to your modem. you using unifi?

Is your wifi channel on 'Auto' model or fixed at a certain channel? Please try to fix it to channel 6 or 11, depending on your surrounding. It should improve.

Have you powered on and off your wifi router? Sometimes this does the trick as well.

yup ~ i'm using unifi ~ i'm pretty familiar with my router settings ~ i don't see a prob in there and i also did a few adjustments in there. unlesss it is a firmware problem but my all other devices no prob connected to it.

i did a cold start too.

nah its not with the router settings, its with the router itself, there's been reports of problems with unifi original router since S4

Try this

Dialpad, *#0011# . When you hit the last # a service mode screen automatically appears.

Hit the menu button, then pick Wifi.

On the next screen you'll see a bunch of settings printed, and one big button under "WIFI Power Save Mode". Tap that button to make it say "OFF". Back button your way out. Reboot the phone, then go back into *#0011# -> Wifi to verify that Wifi power save is still off (a bug in earlier Samsung versions defaults this to "on")

In a Note 2, the settings stick when you turn it off. In a Note 3 and Mega however, it will turn ON after a reboot.

Hi guys, my friend is having some probs with the mobile data connection on her note 3.

Tried the following:
Toggle mobile data on and off, toggle flight mode, restart phone, switch to wcdma/gsm instead of lte/wcdma/gsm. Still doesnt work.

From what she told, sometimes it appears again after a restart. But that doesn't seem to work now. Any idea on how to solve this?

The most expensive app that I have bought was TiBu Pro, that was $6.99 though expensive but really serves me very well. The free version needs me to keep tapping on every app when I backup and restore. I can't afford to do that. laugh.gif

On another hand, Nova free version is serving me very well. That could be the reason why I don't have the urge to upgrade it to prime version. tongue.gif

Upgrade to prime! The gesture mode is really great especially on big device.
