- switch off your phone.
- take out battery.
- insert battery.
- press constant Volume Down + Power + Menu button.

If you can't do the last step means you fail press 3 button together. Ask somebody do it then.

Well this is a PHYSICAL invocation of the status....so if you are not quick enough you can't.....usually takes people several tries, but maybe you could ask a friend to help you with the keypress.....

Did you try my proposal #516?
If still can not it is probably a hardware issue . I faced similar problem in my first galaxy S n only service center can repair it
It should be a straightforward easy process n no need so many attempts
Finally NOT necessary to switch off phone to go to download mode, I never do it in all my Samsung phones

actually, ive done rooting for s2, note and note, but this n3 bit tricky, maybe hardware problem... must send to them, and my volume up didnt working also

Always and always press the other buttons first and make sure the power button is the last button pressed

download mode press ... home + volume down + power.......... then volume up when menu show up...

Give it 1 last try . As suggested and since u r not new to it , it shouldnt be a problem . If u still cant boot into download mode , take back to service center .

i know this is stupid but is your usb cable or charger connected when you press the 3 buttons?

Redownload & reflashed MJ7 Rom with MO Pro again with full wipe. Still Baseband showing MJ4.
Will reflash and this time without wipe and see how.
Battrery low. Will try tomorrow.
Otherwise will flash with PC Odin.
