I can't find a competitive rear stand for my N950 rear speakers too. Just put on the wall shelf at the back.

Yes, it's the successor. Not really for the qled only. I myself is not using with one:D.
I got the sony stand from lazada (WS-F3B), albeit the screw doesn't fit, but a quick search for a 1/4" nut from your toolbox or from ace hardware and a bit if forcing in the screw (through the stand connector thing, not the speaker), fixed it haha.

Thinking of picking up the LG sk9y. Does it pass through Solby Vision as well? Andrewtst
Can’t find it on the official specs, though found on a Dolby website document that says SK9 can pass through Dolby Vision.

I can't answer you as I don't own Dolby Vision TV, it is pass thru as HDR to me.

But this is LG, LG always support Dolby Vision, I don't think it got issue on that, some more official document already mentioned support, nothing to worried about it.

Got the sk9y, want to confirm it does pass through Dolby Vision as well, even though not stated in LG official specs.

Really impressed with Samsung Q90R. Bought it after audition >10 soundbars from different showroom. It gave me what I need for my living room and really enjoyed the surround sound quality.

Anyone got the LG SPK8-S rear wireles on LG soundbar system?

Not sure where to ask so forgive me if it's a bit out of topic.

Pretty much set my mind (and heart) on an LG C8 and SL9Y combo to replace my old Sony set-up.

However, I'm a bit concerned in relation to the space it'll take on my TV console which only has a depth of 38 mm. The combo will just barely fit at 37.6 mm combined.

Of greater concern would be the height of the soundbar at 5.7 mm which is higher than the TV stand. Wall mounting the TV is not an option for me so am wondering what can be done.

I've read of the LG TK10 bracket but it seems that it's only for the SL10Y. Anyone encounter the same issue and how did you overcome it?

Sounds difficult. Im not too sure other than suggesting a diff soundbar. For example saw review on samsung q90r where its height of 3.25 inches fits under most tvs... but maybe u need to consider the depth too... however if i shud say if going atmos, the rear speakers are a huge difference. My preference honestly would be n950 or q90r

Yeah, it's quite annoying that manufacturers seem to be assume that consumers will automatically mount their TV's on walls and as such, don't provided appropriate options for the stand. Hopefully, I'll be able to view a C8 TV in real life this weekend to measure first hand the ground clearance.

If it can't fit, I'll probably abandon my plans and just live with what I have until a better option comes in the future.

Unfortunately, I stay in a small unit and as a result, rear speakers aren't an option either.

Guys. Planning to get a Samsung Soundbar ? Interested in HW-Q90R but also read there is some problem with the wireless speaker. Can any one advice on that ?
