Out of topic question, does Galaxy Note 3 front camera has wide angle feature like HTC One?

I have purple tint issue and i'm too lazy to claim warranty.
Reason is because I don't want to wait for 1 month to get it back.

It's a pity because i really like htc phones. but im not convinced with their after sales service.

Weird that there so many people selling used htc one for rm1.4-1.6k when people can buy new around 1.6k. Didn't they realised htc now 1.6k?

It should be rm1.2k unless it used less than 1-2months

And with the next HTC One's announcement just a few weeks away (assuming it'll be announced at MWC 2014), don't know how much it is worth getting a HTC One now. Unless you can score one for a really good price that is...

because they already fixed this tint issue in htc one max, so newer batch should be ok i guess
its still a good phone imo but wanna see how htc one 2 will looks like
the price should be around 1200-1300 when htc one 2 comes out which should cost rm2000+,just like htc one x where it got huge price cut after a while
htc one was bit stubborn not like butterfly or one x maybe bcause it really a good phone

Hey guys is it sure that the camera issue is not due to software? I got no problem with mine all the while since the day I bought until 20min ago which I ist updated to android 4.3. Now even in enough light condition the picture quality also very worse! I'm dam regret how come I updated mine. Just now 1 of my relatives came to my house and show me his One with 4.3, so I just updated as well but the camera suddenly become very worse!

if u are certain sure before 4.3 ur camera is okay no problem , u can flash back to 4.2 ..
google it htc new one ruu exe ..
but as i know this is camera faulty .

I'm rather sure because I have a colleague who bought a HTC One in Nov 2013 and is right now facing the purple tint issue. Granted, it isn't a 2014 batch but I guess... close enough?

And I don't think the HTC One MAx is entirely without the purple tint issues either. I've seen some with some purple tint issues too.

Definitely, the HTC One is still a darn amazing phone. But like you said, if there is going to be a huge price cut after the next HTC One announcement then why not wait a bit? I could see the HTC One becoming a prime mid-range phone for 2014.

Batch after October all no problem. U can refer to www.mobile01.com and look for htc one. Many user already confirm no more purple tinted issue

U need check the manufactured date. All after October no problem. Ur friend bought in nov, but is it old batch?

Hi. Thinking of maybe getting a htc one with the maxis contract for RM 799.

But I have concerns especially regarding the camera. It seems like a lot of you guys have been sending it back for service or claiming back money through consumer tribunal .

Any thought would be appreciated .

pls note htc one red colour is sell in market from July 2013 but come to Malaysia is year end. a lot in KL here still old batch stock which manufactured before Nov 2013. U can read their manufactured date from serial number. Last two weeks my friend bought at KL, the batch is August 2013 and unfortunately got purple issued.

choose gold colour then yr device is safe as gold is manufactured at year end, camera problem solved.

hi, i am a newbie here. i received today my htc one from headphone and camera (purple tint) warranty. the headphone was fixed unfortunately when I tick on camera its giving me error "unable to start camera", i did clear on cache and reset to factory settings but still no good. anyone can help? appreciate in advance. thank you

try factory reset, if still fail then call 1800889855
