Software cant fix it...
Remember when 4.3 was launched and we all did the test camera test? After a few secs, the screen returns to black.
But now, it doesnt anymore, it stays purplish pink everytime.
Attached below is a sample pic I took at night with room lighting. (43 degrees C)
See how serious it is  yawn.gif

Just got a HTC One today. Noticed my camera has the purple tint in low light. Does the 14 day one-to-one exchange with SIS still apply?

Also, does this phone support LTE with celcom? I have enabled LTE in the carrier settings but yet to receive LTE signal.

Thanks.

New unit also got purple tint problem?

You need LTE SIM card to support LTE, and your area need to have LTE station. You can test in Sunway Pyramid, can also change your SIM card for free in the Bluecube outside the pyramid there.

Yes, you can walk-in,if you have receipt of purchase it would be better to proof that it's within the 14 days period. Without it, would be difficult as they would trace your warranty period in a totally different way.

Only SiS provide 1 to 1 exchange within 14 days bro, Brightstar only provide warranty but does not include 1 to 1 exchange.

I've try to contact HTC in all channels but all sucks.
Live chat - always offline
1800-889855- call 5 times, keep me waiting for 5~10 mins and no answer
The general customer service hoteline 1800-238-7788 - even worse, the number was invalid.
Email- no reply

I'm in Penang, else will go to time square to fire at the service office, anyone know how to contact them?

Wow so many complaints.

Right now, Maxis is having promotion for HTC One (MYR799) bundled with 2 years contract. I have been thinking to get one until I found so many negative feedback here.

Is it still wise to get HTC One? The new batch is still having the same problem like camera and gap?

Thanks.

Hi! Sorry 4 late reply...

I call HTC at

1800 889 855‎
‎08:00 - 20:00 (Mon - Sat), 09:00 - 18:00 (Sun)‎

tell them 'bout the prob... They will ask u to troubleshoot urself... then call them back & arrange the courier... Courier service will give u Tracking no when their collected... Since mine is SIS warranty, so they send my HO to SIS at Kelana Jaya...

This afternoon, HTC call me again to confirm about the collection...

It's depend on your warranty, they will sent it over to warranty company before to HTC...

Got my phone back after 2 weeks as promised by the service rep at the counter and also the HTC Hotline.

I'm surprised with the service and delighted with the service as I was expecting the worst case scenario which you guys have been talking about. Probably I am lucky or the service is bucking up.

Camera issue seems to be gone for now which I will continue to monitor. Any updates I'll post it up here.

Anyone using Waze here?

I used waze and my HTC One hits 50 degrees celcius!

maybe u can try using the One naked while u use gps.
when u feel it is warm then put it to the aircond let it cool down, that work pretty well tho.

or u can just lock the screen n listen to the voice navi, this can reduce the phone temp greatly. smile.gif

Nah, this phone hardly have games in there. I have my S3 to fulfil the games smile.gif and I will never play games like candy crush.
Then again, I should install some to see how it goes. Let's see how it goes then.
Any games that is interesting?
