FYI, I bought my htc one from maxis with a contract of 2years so the price is cheaper. If, I'm able to get refund, how can it be done cause if they pay me the amount I pay for the htc one,(with maxis contract,rm1400 if not wrong) it's not fair, cause I can't use tat amount of money to buy a high end phone.
Need some advice. After all, I think this would be a great experience
What I would do if I were you
1. call htc, ask how long to fix it
2. if its too long and no replacement phone to use, e.g. 2 weeks or 3 weeks, i will call tribunal and ask first, say I am not satisfied i buy a brand new phone got problem, need to fix have to wait 2 weeks+, plus it is a super high end phone why have this problem
3. see what tribunal agent say..
4. the tribunal will be filed against Maxis, not HTC, in your tribunal you can request for money back, or request for another phone model of equal value or higher value if you top up, up to you whatever you want to claim, doesn't mean you will get it, but if its reasonable, the judge may grant it.
as always, call tribunal to ask for advice, it is FOC.
