any unit BIG COOK the Ventilation channel to air cell will spread to all the unit yard.

those who dry the clothes..may get their clothes dry and BIG COOK smell.

The reason that I didn't mention earlier I'm the owner of CT + exclusive agent of CT was because I didn't plan to promote myself here, was just joining this big family to get the latest info of CT n also to provide some info bout CT if anyone inquiries. Usualy condo will install the HOOD

then somewhere the COOK smell need to divert smwhere for the HOOD to release.

the nearest to kitchen is the Air CELL sharing in the yard for drying the clothes.

What i want to highlight; ZALAM can built a BIG PIPE in the AIR CELL for the HOOD to connect.

Else every unit HOOD install each unit only to channel to small AIR CELL, then the AIR CELL

will get trap all kind of cooking smell..

Im sharing mine exp..as mine current Condo also facing the issue. When someone cook curry- the HOOD dispence the smell to AIR CELL, then all the unit can smell it thru yard.


You migh well come to see mine condo so sense mine feel.

I believe every CONDO has this flaw. if the AIR CELL didnt hv open space then most the trap air will flow to every yard.

Come to think of it, every condo that i've seen has this problem. Your proposal for big air pipe that meant as an exhaust for the smell might not do too well without blocking fins to prevent other cooking smell to come into your unit via the duct. It would only work if the end duct has an active blower fan to extract all the air from the duct and this has to be on 24x7. Other solution usually is to have kitchen duct going outside of the external wall rather than the internal corridor.

there a Variable Speed Louvered Exhaust Fan.

the fin open the gap for exit ; will close when there not wind flow.

then Air flow only 1 way flow.
