u keep track of your many transactions to make sure u hit 3k ? I would think tracking hlb wise was easier
*
QUOTE(sj0217 @ Feb 18 2014, 11:11 PM)
every single transaction will be recorded in excel file, so it is easy to track back.  biggrin.gif
*
yes, not only for aeon watami, also using excel for records of expenses using mbb2amex (weekends 5%), uob one (petrol 5%), hlb wise (mobile/grocery/petrol). used to do for ocbc tmc too but now no need already bcs 1% for all.

ok but I wanted to say we shouldn't spend unnecessarily just to hit the 3k but if you have a fixed payment every month that's more than half then it would be enough
*
yes, you are right. for those who don't have fixed expenses shouldn't apply aeon watami just to hit its minimum requirement of rm3k per quarter. but for me, i do have a few fixed insurance policies to be paid and also my wife's policies as well. nod.gif

You didn't keep track for your statement date?

Probably happening on my side also as the statement date was in 12/2, but until now (19/2) still haven't get the copy of statement.  sweat.gif
*
put a monthly reminder a few days before statement due date for each of your cc.
if your hardcopy statement still not received by the time your reminder sounds, then check it online and arrange your payment...

QUOTE(zaFrOoNaLdO @ Feb 25 2014, 05:36 PM)
well guys, i've got an update regarding 90% SF promo.

The CS told me, its every saturday, bi-weekly thingy. so the next one wud be 8th march.

whoever is entitled for the 90% disc, you will receive the discount. I guess you will have to flash the sms to the SF cashier when ordering.

and its only at SF paradigm mall.
my conclusion:

I think whoever doesnt receive the SMS, can ask from whoever receives it.. and then u can show the sms and pay using ur OCBC card. I dont think SF will be really strict/have time to check whether ur card no is entitled for the offer or not.

hope that helps ya'll here.
*
if it's a bi-weekly saturday promotion, will they be sending the sms batch by batch? meaning for those who received the sms during the first promotion will not receive the sms anymore?

or those who received the first sms still can come again? i don't think so because the sms written the promotion date and time. so if we did not receive the new promotion sms, i don't think we can still use the old one again.

No more auto waive for spending 10k and above already, if no mistaken start from end of Nov 2013.
*
some still able to get gst offset in december 2013. but i did not hear any more waiver starting 2014 until LostAndFound posted comment below stating that his wife received gst offset last month.

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Feb 25 2014, 06:16 PM)
Just to share, checked my wife's last month bill and she got the GST paid for last year by OCBC even though her date just after they change policy.

Doubt can get it anymore, but make me feel happier a bit la =)

I called to cancel my card 2 months ago, reason given: Don't want to pay GST. Given the fact that I spent more than 10k last year, they happily waive the GST biggrin.gif
*
seems like ocbc starts to absorb the gst again... maybe after too many users cancelled their cc because of the gst...

that was 2 months ago..december time, for all GST charged on December, you might get the GST offset, as the new rule implement on 29th Nov is unfair for December CC holder. According to their CS, they only offset for this time, no more next year.  rclxub.gif
*
thanks for pointing it out, i did not noticed that she is saying two months ago = december 2013. doh.gif
which means for 2014 gst absorbed by ocbc, only one successful case so far...

Sifus here, can I know how to upgrade my OCBC titanium MasterCard CC limit?
*
if for temporary, just call the cs and tell the reason.
if for permanent, you need to submit your latest payslip.

2 weeks is something new to me. Usually my CC approval and delivery all done within 7 - 10 days
*
oops, i mean 15 working days is for the balance transfer application. so you still need to apply the cc which takes around 2 weeks time. added up together will be more than a month already.

Sure? I forgot to pay my bill more than 2 weeks but haven't gotten charged till now....

my wife got charged retail transaction & late charges for missing her payment 2 weeks ago. actually she paid... only to realise 2 weeks later that she had actually paid to ocbc instead of hlb. the worse case was that she had cancelled her ocbc cc earlier, which means her payment were to nowhere. called ocbc to refund back the money to her and paid to hlb again.

they said they got certain criteria for GST waive now but she cant let me know the details but she can try appeal for me and wait for next month bill only can know the outcome.

Today already email the form to change autopay from ocbc to amex for TM & Celcom.
Will do for Digi but need to go to Centre.
While for Insurance, need change to Visa
*
for tm, you can use m2u to pay on weekends (5%), so no need do autopay for that. brows.gif
