Indeed. Both my iPhone and iPad's Glass-M cracked within one month usage.
And the quality weren't that good as described.

Crack? I mean so fragile?
Did u hit or drop the device? The impact is big?
To be honest, I really feel like peel off the glass M ... Crack and dump it away...

My previous clear capdase sp is way better, at least not so messy at the edges... shakehead.gif

I had the same initial thought, I was thinking my iPad surface isn't flat enough when I installed on my iPad 2 earlier. But then when installing recently to my iPad Air I took note just before I peel the layer off. The adhesive actually didn't cover entirely! Disappointing.
Mine had a fine line scratch right after I remove the top layer!

I definitely won't recommend this Glass-M to anybody already.

I think the Glass M SP not flat enough, hardly for the iPad surface not being flat right?
Luckily no scratches or bubble at the viewing area ... Just the border especially side edges, and the home button edges cannot adhere to the surface? You press harder, it will stick down, but other side cannot adhere...

Come to conclusion: GLASS M SP IS SIMPLY NOT FLAT !!! vmad.gif

Just get this tempered glass sp. I have bought 2 of these. One on my iPad Air and the other on my sister's iPad Air. So far it's good....stick on perfectly from edge to edge. The edge is curve and it feel so smooth that you don't know there is a glass sp on the iPad at all.

Tempered glass sp

Cheaper? Wait for Red-Friday sales next year because the pricing is pretty much standard for Apple products. Controlled item. So basically just go to wherever that is at your convenience.

Don't be so sarcastic. The price of Apple products are not exactly standard.

My advise is don't get from outside retailers as some of them do charge higher than those Authorized Apple Retailers. Go to Malaysia Apple website and check out the price first and that is the price you should be paying for any Apple products. Even some Authorized Reseller might force you to bundle with case and screen protector etc so the price is not exactly standard per se.

For my iPhone, it just cracked like that.
Left it on the table, came back after lunch and the sp cracked. Nothing wrong with the case and phone.

Immediately tear it off and changed to Power Support.

How is that being sarcastic? Do you feel offended?

Apple's pricing are always the same across every single authorized retailers in Malaysia. We do not have Black-Friday sales hence the only time that Apple products are on discount is during Red-Friday sales which happens to fall only ONCE a year. Since he missed that deal, he can only purchase it only during the NEXT red-friday sale.

There is no such thing as force in consumer purchasing. You have the options to decide for yourself. The money is yours. Not such thing as 'MIGHT FORCE'. They force, just leave. Simple. And from my experience of authorized retailers, no one ever offered or 'forced' me to bundle my Apple devices before.

For my case, I'm very certain it not due to surface flatness. Instead it is the adhesive, poor adhesive coverage!

but from my finding, i push the side which not adhere properly... after the side being adhere to the surface, then some other part of the SP cannot adhere to the surface again... besides of flatness and the adhesiveness of the Glass M, i couldn't brain other thing else for me to blame anymore mad.gif

Where do you live. There should be Taobao agent serving the city you live in. Try search in garage sales for an agent in in your city.

In fact taobao is shipping to malaysia now. You can register an account and even pay with maybank2u.

I'm not sure whether to get the LTE version or just the wifi version.
Is it the same if I can use my phone as a hotspot?
Is there any functionality only accessible by LTE devices?

GPS is only available on Cellular iPads. Wi-Fi iPads cannot have precise location, as it does not the antenna required. The antenna provides input for not only the GPS, but the cellular data as well.
