QUOTE(ben3003 @ Dec 12 2013, 07:50 PM) Bro, he is arguing something over his own ass, because he cant even understand my fuking simple yet broken english. 1st, i am now currently subscribed to surfmore50 for 1-2yrs already? 2nd, i wanna buy an ipad air. 3rd, i see that maxis offering me to sign 2yrs contract for my current surfmore50 then i am able to buy ipad air 32gb wifi+LTE at rm1799, no advance payment rm500 becos i am MOC. So end of the day, i am able to buy ipad air at rm550 less than street price, yet i STILL pay rm50 ONLY per month to crony maxis. Easy to understand? He cant understand, he still tot i have to pay extra rm50 every month for an iPad air. it's hard to explain, maybe i need to type chinese or malay or indian or watever the f his mother tongue is to make him understand. Just get whatever pleases you bro. No need to get angry over him Sounds like a sweet deal, but actually the advance payment more or less it's the same also. For instance, RM500 will be deducted from my monthly bill, so lets say I use RM50 (estimate will be more I know), so it will be spread to 10 months. Meaning to say I already paid for that 10 months of usage and will continue paying after the 10th month onwards until I complete my 24 months contract. More or less, still the same as the offer you receive Only problem is that I am required to get a new number |

Yay. Just got my iPad Air. Made my decision not to buy the Mini RD. Unfortunately Machines does not have SGP screen protectors, now my iPad is naked, gonna hunt for one later

QUOTE(Lynixx @ Dec 14 2013, 03:18 PM) Thankfully not. I managed to test it out before I left the place. According to the sales person, the yellow tint occurs on the first batch only. Made a few search online and the cause of the tint is the adhesive that is not dry yet. It will go away after a few days. LolQUOTE(korbin @ Dec 14 2013, 05:31 PM) He had a special case where he sold a AP phone when he claimed that he sold an original Malaysian distro phone. If I remember correctly |

Having trouble syncing my Windows Live email account with the default Mail app. Previously able to sync with my iPhone last year but it seems that I cannot receive Mails from the iPad eventhough it is synced correctly :/

QUOTE(bizness @ Dec 15 2013, 11:17 AM) If you purchase from Online Store, you may change it if you find any dead pixel, yellow tint or whatever that is considered as defect. They will give you a totally brand new one. But this is only for the first two weeks after receiving the device. I found a chip on the edge of my ipad when I got home. I bought my 5S from Online Store and got them to replace two 5S for me since the first one had dead pixel and second one had yellow discoloration on top screen. My second new replacement is Regarding the Local Reseller, I'm not quite sure. From what I experience last them when purchasing the iPad 3 is you may check the device on the spot, and if you find any starches, dead pixel etc you can request a new set on the spot. But I'm not sure whether the 14 days return policy applies to the Local Reseller or not. |

QUOTE(bizness @ Dec 15 2013, 12:24 PM) You bought it from Local Reseller? Have you tried to go back and ask for a new replacement? Yeah, Machines Empire. No crowd thou but I didn't remove the plastic at the store just turned on the screen to check for yellow tint and dead pixels. Replacement need to be done at Mid Valley, too much hassle. I guess I'll just use a casing to cover it Yesterday I went to KLCC Machines. My god, the crowd there was like night market. Believe it or not, for me to buy a SP for my 5S took me 30min+ to queue for payment and wait for their staff to install. Never buy any Apple products when crowded as everything sure will be rushing one and you wont have time to check properly etc. I hate to rush when buying any product! |

iPad Air feels comfortable when holding with 1 hand, most importantly. The curved edges makes it easier to hold, doesn't poke your hands like the previous models

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Dec 18 2013, 05:19 PM) Machines service centre is not a reseller, is already a service provider aka AASP. if a shop can qualify as a apple service provider, and they hang their cap as ÄASP, they should emulate apple and bring apple culture into their workdesk, bringing out top notch service and support, if not emulate, at least something near. But machines service centre is no where near. the fuk fuk guy dont know what is the name, can talk like that to their client aka like nothing happened, pretend to be blind, is not cool. For me, they are just trying to avoid trouble, better i claim ur unit cannot be serviced so i have less 1 matter to deal with type of attitude is in malaysia, whether is small or big shop. Maxis is worst of all, straight away tai chi and say machines only handle iPad. I was totally speechless. Sometimes it is hard to control these people, Apple themselves has no control over Machines staff. The only thing you can do is to make a formal complaint to Apple regarding this and let's see how it goes from thereAfterall, it is an Apple, right? |

QUOTE(dino2sky @ Dec 24 2013, 09:11 AM) Hi, just would like to double confirm surfmore 50 for iPad is there any extra charges once exceeded the quota? As per savemoney.my, there will be as per below. The new Maxis policy does not charge you for exceeded quota but throttle down your speed instead. Moreover Surfmore 50 comes with 2GB data no?The drawbacks? Exceeding your quota will not mean a throttling in speed however, a charge or RM0.30/mb (very expensive). As such if you do indeed exceed your quota, consider purchasing upgrade passes for extra data instead. This plan is most suitable for those who are primarily data dependent and isn’t the most appropriate for an average user (assume usage of 300mins, 200SMS and 1GB of Data. |
