for bm p1 karangan, how do u start a karangan? i saw a video yesterday about a tuition teacher saying that phrases like "marcapada ini" and "pada era globalisasi ini" is complete bullshit.the examiner will simply get bored. he encouraged to use a creative pendahuluan.

for example, if it is about keamanan, he used some phrase from negaraku, and wrote "malaysia begitu aman, rakyat tidak mampu mengenali perbezaan tentang bunyi mercum dan bunyi bom!" something like that.

what do u all think? should use creative pendahuluan or stick to the era globalisasi thing?

Yep, these are the ones I've heard from so many different sources, one of them HAS to be right.

Cikgu Suguz ? I watched his videos too . But bear in mind , although he's very experienced , he has never been an examiner . I've talked to examiners and read some sample re-typed scripts and many students utilise " Pada era moden ini ... " , and other generic pendahuluans , with scores of 80-90 .

Good luck! It's quite simple because there are no new concepts, just integration, differentiation and factorising, mostly.

Era globalisasi is safe, and yes they might "get bored" but it's mantap and it's considered an ungkapan menarik so they won't take points off.

If you can, try to start with slogan or peribahasa or something, but there's always the chance of the slogan being tidak berkenaan, or you writing the slogan wrongly etc etc.

I personally start off with a slogan, then use the pada era globalisasi thing.

So , have you prepared for them , like writing them out , or just have a rough idea and will use your 11 years worth of experience to come up with your best karangan ?

Because I've read like too many karangan's these past few days , and to be honest , I'm kinda sick of them --- reading BM karangan's isn't a pleasant experience ( unlike reading creative works ) , it gets monotonous , and all those apple polishing about you-know-what makes me tired ...

So I'm left with these tajuk's in my mind , not sure to continue coming up with perenggan's for now , or just abandon BM completely and start thinking about my English and Moral .

1 slogan, 1 peribahasa, 1 simpulan bahasa, and the topic

do u have the topic such as kebaikan or langkah?

i wont rely n tips too much, cuz it makes me think of my PMR. tons of tips, none of them came out
