Yup when i am out of LTE area, i usually change to WCDMA only. Dun like seeing E/G. Why got no option to choose LTE/WCDMA only.

The best i can do using mainly wifi and data in between. Was hoping for more than 8 hours.

Same here bro, I also don't like to see the E/G icon. But I hardly find a place with more than 3 bars of LTE connection

The tracking chip is only help to reduce power consumption when connected to 4G. But if coverage is bad it will still suck our battery as it constantly searching for network.

My personal best so far. Still can't reach 6hrs SOT.

In support of what antt00 and a few others said, samsung stock rom on the note phablets are streamlined and tweaked already and now note in its 3rd generation is really convenient for many functions especially s pen use.

All we really need is root access. Samsung should allow rooting with no penalty. Custom roms are quite a different matter and it can lead to problems because most drivers are proprietary on all mobile platforms.

Root + xposed framework is plenty good for self tweaking and enhancements. Now if only manufacturers could provide a backup nandroid function in stock recovery will be perfect. Much like what most pc makers provide for a recovery partition or some app that backs up your stuff before a wipe.

I agree on this. Previously we flash custom ROM is because there are too many custom mods or customization are tied to custom ROM. But now with Xposed framework + Wanam, there any many things we can do without flashing custom ROM.

Any1 here know how input smiley faces in TouchWiz keyboard? Can seem to find options to input Android stock smiley faces in normal text messages.

Im not sure if its the right way coz im still new with Tasker as well but so far no problem yet with mobile data disconnect while sleep

However you are only able to insert the smiley into message app, other apps like whatsapp you won't be able to insert the smiley.

Yes, no coverage. I'm always on WCDMA and I think it may have for EDGE but anyway made a mistake, shouldn't have switched off my router or once I did, should have just switched off my phone.

No, it is the signal issue and nothing else.
I was connected to WiFi all the time and the battery hardly drains, maybe the whole night only 3%.
Just that yesterday, I switched off my router before I went to bed and it was on mobile data, then it started to drain the whole night. I did use it while I was on bed and the connection kept going offline and online non-stop. Made a mistake, should have just switched off my phone.

Anyway, I'm always on WCDMA as DiGi has no LTE yet for its mobile data.

Now I'm in a better coverage in KL, battery hardly drains. The moment I left home this morning (5.30 a.m.) until now, only dropped 4% with some light usage in between.

this morning i Aircommand menu didnt appear.
anyone experince this ?
i have check detech S pen settings are ok
