No issue upgrading my 2013 LTE to 4.4.3 using Nexus Root Toolkit v1.8.4.

- download 4.4.3 factory image from Google
- "Flash Stock + Unroot" using Nexus Root TK
- used option "No Wipe Mode"

no reinstall of apps, just like OTA.

I own a nexus 7 and a Sony z1 compact.

Nexus 7 running 4.4.3

But z1 compact on 4.4.4

Sony is new update king?

Blame Verizon, WiFi version already got updated to 4.4.4 but LTE version still stuck at 4.4.3. But 4.4.4 is just a minor security patch and no new feature so it is ok for me tho.

hmm..sumthin went wrong with my Nexus 7C gps. I turn it on, tried all 3 mode.

Used GPS Test and GPS Status to check, but it juz could not detect gps at all. GPS Status just keep 'looking for GPS location', while GPS Test has no result at all. No bar at all.

B4 diz my N7 gps was superb. can lock in very quick and stable. blink.gif

Just to see if anyone hv this problem, My Nexus 7 wifi connection can only works up to around 5 feet from router then it will auto disconnect.

The problem is consistent n I've tried it with my phone hotspot & my sis router also same. Anyone knows what's the problem ? Thanks.

guys, any of you facing this problem? my google play service crashs pretty often, even restarted my tab also still the same.

I'm using paranoid Android with 4.4.4

I'm using the carbon rom

Ipad mini will fare better if you plan to upgrade (through trade in) later.

Built quality, i tested both, i prefer nexus7-2. No need physical home button (no risk repairing one), not as heavy as iPad mini but still have the premium feel, play store is rich enough though not as much as apple store (you won't noticed ). However it's easier to find far lots of cases with iPad mini.

Anyway, after over 9 months of owning it one, i noticed the upper left corner started creaking. Possibly caused by some drops and bumps.
