Finally managed to get my sim to work.

I'm wondering, how come I cant set my tablet as a WIFI hotspot?
Blocked it on this device? Have to flash to enable?

just did an upgrade to 4.4.3 without any issues, but then, what is/are the changes of this new one over the previous version 4.4.2 Kit Kat? then, on the front page here, there is 4.4.4 available already? YIKES...

Official factory image is not available for LTE model but Google just released L preview source code in AOSP so custom rom based on it might get released in the future.

LTE model gets stuck at 4.4.3 currently but 4.4.4 is just minor security update tho.

4.4.3 is more like a security update... but then got major security problem something and google patch it with 4.4.4

i was going to ask same question, but i try to update and it boot to recovery.. after restart the 4.3 update is gone.. and im still at 4.2 with root access

haha, literally, it means no point upgrading to 4.4.3 since 4.4.4 is to patch a hole or a few holes found in 4.4.3!
anyway, i've been using Nexus 7 for almost many months now, almost half a year, i think. and it's serving me too well, i guess; mail, facebook, surfing, reading... not much of a gamer on tab, though. good call to buy this, i guess, hehe.
oh, and i got this suede like casing with magnet from my previous trip in japan, less than a hundread, but it's good. i still don't understand why there is no such casing in Malaysia, though...

not sure if its failed.. but i downloaded the update and the device reboot to install, then it went to recovery, from there the installation stop and i select to restart my device..

I think the installation failed because u have installed SMS mod.
Mine oso having the same problem.
Got to manually flashed it
