Okay I read or saw the wrong things but seriously, I meant it in jest dude. Of course bitcoin miners didn't 100% cause stock drops and piece increases. I was at viewnet last week and they were selling a 290X for 1999 just fine. And I'm not that sick to wish misfortune apon others. The 'Hit' I was talking about is value, nothing else. And as you said, the value is still 1000% of what it used to be.

Sigh forget it. I'm sorry, and I won't jest like this again.

Nah, I'm just adding information that Bitcoin miners will not buy AMD GPU already these days. ASIC miners out-do AMD GPUs by far.

If anyone uses an R9 280X for Bitcoin, they could only fetch 5.40 USD per month at the current difficulty.

R9 290X maybe about 7 USD.

I know, but it was just an easy thing online to blame the shortage of 290/290X on bitcoin

But of course it's all just speculation. Just adding the fun LOL.

And yeah, they only release a set amount of currency per day, which is why mining in is not an easy process and gains are not instant, and like you said, $7 per month per card.

But oh well, at least I got my 290X now. Hope to use an aftermarket cooler on it soon. Now a sincere question, what are your recommendations? I'm looking at a Kraken X40/NZXT G10 combo. =)

Casual miners hoping to make a quick buck are disappointed. LiteCoin is now half what it was about 2 weeks ago but still 8 times more than what it was many months back.

Hi , I recently got a Sapphire Vapor X 7970 6GB

I press the 'lethal boost' button and restart.

Clock speed remains the same at 1050 which is without the button pressed.

Anything i did wrong ?
