If you do not have any account with Maybank, you need to head over to any branch. Get the bank officer to assist you in creating a M2U account and link up your cards. You only need to link one card and the other one will be automatically linked. As for MSOS, you may contact the customer service for activation.

Went to maybank and registered MasterCard for maybank2u. Was told that the card will be linked automatically. Went home check and perform first time login. Only MasterCard appeared under Account & Banking. Then I called customer service and been told that these 2 credit cards cannot be linked together unless you have a saving accounts. Rush to klcc maybank and re-do everything and now all Are linked to my saving account's m2u.

If you have a saving/current account, everything can be linked to M2U tied to this particular saving/current account. Just that you need to pay a visit to the nearest branch during bank normal operation hours and cannot do it via CS on phone.

You can save the hassle if you perform the 1st time login at the branch itself. By the way, the customer service is wrong. You don't need to have any saving or current accounts to link both cards to M2U. It can be done. Myself and several others here manage to do it. It all depends on the skill of the bank officer biggrin.gif

Their system is able to tie and untie whatever account to the primary M2U username regardless it's a saving, current, credit card or even loan.

Yes, I am stating that the customer service is wrong. We can have M2U with just credit cards alone.

I didn't state you're wrong. I saw the staff did in front of my eyes. Perhaps the branch staff is not skillful enough to handle it.

According to chung7572, he already has an account with Maybank so there should not be any problem but pity he has to return to KLCC just because this.

This is normal and happened to me before even though I have saving account with MBB for 7 years.

The frustration is that you cannot even do it over the phone with CS.

To tie and untie needs to go to the nearest branch during normal banking hours. Some staffs are not trained to handle the system if you go to branch that operates outside normal banking hours. I experienced this before. So don't make the risk by wasting a trip.

If the petrol station accepts AMEX for reload top up AND transaction date falls on weekend, yes it'll be entitled but personal experience tells me that they won't accept it. Usually reload including T&G is CASH only.

No major difference.

Yes. Only 1x TP for each RM 1 swiped in retail spending.
