Does anyone has any issues with location options? I tried turning off the location options to get longer battery life, but when i turned it on again, the maps app takes a long time to lock in my location.

Battery life seems to have decreased as well, stock rom with franco kernel. Is it possible to change a new battery at the service centre? Thanks.

Check which mode are you using in Location. Use the one with highest accuracy (both GPS + WiFi/Data) when you need to use map.

after you flash to franco kernel, when got new android OS update, you can update via OTA smoothly?
*
as long as you modified your OS, be it root or custom kernel, you can't update via OTA. flash using the factory image.

You guys do know that Nexus 5 launcher do not have official name right? laugh.gif
Internally it's known as Google Home.

Instead of posting here asking how to get the transparent bars if you guys have googled it you should have gotten the answer faster.

Ya lo. But to most, its called GEL mah.

On a side note, can you guys list out the bugs that you are encountering now? Also list out whatever mods you have done

Here's mine

- stock 4.4, stock kernel
- incoming call, screen not responding, must turn off screen n turn back to answer call (seemed to be gone)
- some apps crash when accessing through the recent apps menu
- some lag when scrolling through contacts
- some lag in dolphin browser
- battery life kinda sucky

Hey guys,

I seemed to have a big problem when I tried installing Cyanogenmod 10.2

I downgraded from Kitkat 4.4 OTA to CM10.2. After running the CM 10.2 rom for a few minutes, I realized the wifi is completely not functioning. The option in Settings is greyed out.

Top right status bar next to the cell reception bar, there was a incomplete circular progress bar of some sort. And the dialer was lagging heavily. Any ideas on how to fix this?

maybe it was because of the bootloader and modem version (aka baseband version) is still .97. that is the baseband version for android kitkat. when u flashed cm10.2, did u also flash jb baseband .84? if not here we go. http://d-h.st/IIf .. make sure you have a nandroid backup before flashing.
before that u can check ur baseband version whether it is .97 or .84. go setting>about phone, and see the last pair of numbers at the baseband version.
