QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Nov 3 2013, 12:35 AM) Makes a sound means the NFC Tag is detected. There's 2 type of NFC Apps. First type writes specific tasks into a tag (which means permanent). Then scanning the tag will perform the specified tasks. Second type just reads the "code" of the NFC Tag (something like your IC Number, different for each tag), then you set what tasks to be performed when this specific "IC Number" is scanned. correct, as u mention above,You can try AnyTag NFC (by Malaysian, Lowyat forumer too) which is the second type. Only use first type when you buy dedicated NFC Tags. Otherwise the info inside your IC/other NFC Tags will be erased. It can't read our identity info in IC. There should be some type of encoding done to protect this information. it can only read the code/serial embedded in the nfc tag. u can then set to do what action after detect the nfc by the apps mention. those apps will nt rewrite or write or erase the code/serial. just use the code to do what u ask. so ic will totally behave like a nfc tag and display the code/serial only. to erase/write the code/serial u need special device This post has been edited by tjay_tj: Nov 3 2013, 06:40 PM |

with awesome specs, just like Nexus 4, N5 still don't have bigger battery like LG G2. Its like LG want people to buy G2 for better battery. lol. Even with Kitkat and hopefully dev will release kernel to improve its battery performance. I bet it will have same SOT like Nexus 4. Around 3-4 SOT.

ive used android kitkat aosp build by kalo86 for a day now. so far no serious bug. the location is fixed in this build, but the compass is not.
for battery life, last night before i slept, it was 96%. with wifi off, when i woke up this morning, the battery is still 96%. no joke. really impress. from this morning until this time i write this post, this is the battery graph. my impression on android kitkat, i love the hangout app now can sync all the sms, because i love the clean ui and the animation. google now is something i use for getting weather info and game results and its nice now with just a swipe can access to it. if u guys cant wait for the ota update of android kitkat, i suggest u flash this build. just to get the taste of it before the official one. Reverted back from 4.4 to 4.3 due to no gravitybox support yet. I really need the customised ui especially quicksettings
24hrs on kitkat was fun tho especially the semitransparent appdrawer, ok google, lower ram usage and slightly improved battery life. Didnt get to play with ART coz it fc many 3rd party apps. This post has been edited by x800: Nov 4 2013, 01:35 AM |

QUOTE(nightwalkertzs @ Nov 2 2013, 11:59 PM) Hi just wanted to ask, any1 ever been to LG service center fixed for faulty button(volumn / lock button)..took how long to fix it? can return at the spot? If they have parts and no other customer waiting, it will only take about 15 mins. QUOTE(csvanguard @ Nov 3 2013, 12:14 AM) |
