1. On stamina mode, battery life is estimated to be one day
2. Off stamina mode, battery life became 2 days?

Z1 is not mini, Z1 is standard size phone. 5" for some user still really big.

Mini shall in between 4.3"

5" is pretty standard size.. Not yet in phablet category.. 5.5" when it start to be big. Imo for a 5" phone, there is no need for a mini version.. Rather actually they want to produce a cheaper version, that's the point. As we can see on S3 and S4 mini, not only the screen smaller, but also the overall spec is much lower. Should call it the cheap version instead of mini.

I am contemplating to get a ZU vs Z1. Any opinion or thoughts on this? I currently have note 2.

Need. Some people still prefer smaller size phone.

I got at least two friends never like phone above 4.5" screen, for them it is too big. They are hunting smaller high end spec phone, if this Z1 mini is same using S800, it will be their dream phone.

Not really also... There are some who prefer smaller screen than 5" but with higher spec. In recent years the high end spec phone have been increasing in size and not everyone like big phone.

If you read other forums. There are alot of people who like the idea of z1 mini. In the end every phone will have their own market

Not really but I find it quite hard to press due to the size
It's not as sensitive to iPhone power button if u're used to those

Taking screenshot can be a bit tricky too whistling.gif

I was going to get Z1 soon. Yesterday went to try the Z1 at Sony shop. Kinda dissapointed with the camera. The only good about the camera is lense. It can't shoot fast moving subject without blurring. SE K810i is better coz it have a mechanical shutter. I think I will opt for ZR instead.
