Just now somebody asked the SPS big boss in charge of today's event why need to "check" attendance until late at night. His answer:

"Because we want to see who desperate enough to buy our properties. This is because we want the buyers to be real home stayers, not speculators. If the person is buying to stay he must be desperate, so he will stay for attendance. If he's speculator then he will not be too desperate, so he will not come when we take attendance"

So there you go, it's official. I am not sure I agree with what he said but this was what he told everyone. To be honest I don't think they have thought about carefully about this

to be honest, those investors are even more desperate than those home buyers.

this is a stupid idea. nowadays, investors buy at everywhere. those stay at Klang will also buy into Semenyih. Those in Penang also will buy into Klang Valley.

just a marketing la, sp setia want to create a scene like a carnival, lots of ppl here and there and desperate to buy their property...

well, no harm, good try...if someone not happy with this, just leave the center, lots of ppl willing to stay there and sp setia can easy find other buyer to replace those who leave...got freefood, free drink..ok la...

This way, at least, they can filter away some of the speculators and also investors, those outstation investors would not so keen to come over. It is difficult to please everyone. I believe SPS is trying to do their best to handle this situation.

coz half already taken beforehand by speculators i.e staff and associates like cheryee...so have to make sure the other half is owner occupied...if not become ghost town

If SPS wants to see who is desperate and who is not, please take it one step further.

In less a day notice and many may be taking EL just to go there to become a real home buyer? Those with family and kids at schools or at home/child care centre, can they out of sudden leave out their family and just to be there to buy house?

The business of speculators is buy n flip , properties is their traded commodity , sure their have lot of time to q n wait coz this is their JOD . What a stupid bureaucracy mindset .
