I use a shampoo which had coconut soap as the base. He seems to like it better, although the reason I bought it was the over-empowering coconut scent takes over the doggy scent tongue.gif

I don't like it when shampoos (whatever kind) do not list down their ingredients-alot of pet shampoos do this. Sounds fishy to me.

Wayne, your black pup reminds me of one of the evil mogwais! hmm.gif

Speaking of black, my dog's fur is going through a darkening process. The light black streak on his back now looks like it has been dipped in tar. The rest of his coat is also deepening in colour. The whitish part of his fur remains the same. He is also sprouting some coarse and long looking hair. It isn't a lot but you can see it clearly standing out from his normal puffy soft coat. Is this the adult coat?

Mind you, I don't know how to differentiate between top coat and undercoat or what the difference is

OK...Darkening and lightening are processes for Pomeranian's fur I guess?
Mostly people will claimed that the color will lightening only...
But for my Dolly...the color of the fur actually getting more solid than younger her.

The normal puffy soft fur that you mentioned is the undercoat.
The long fur you referred is the top coat. notworthy.gif

I am using TropicClean for Puppy and Kitten

Ingrediets: Coconut Based Shampoo (can be read as Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate or any of those SLS ingredients), Aloe Vera, Oatmeal and Vitamin E. Sounds so good you can eat it brows.gif

Depends on the individual dog itself.

I had two shih tzus. One was greedy over food and the other wasn't that keen into eating (in fact the latter was quite needy emotionally)

My pomeranian is not so keen on food too. Sometimes he would finish his meals, sometimes only parts of it (it isn't a big serving).

When I feed him snacks or ice, he would gobble it down hungrily Maybe its because thats a rare treat

tongue.gif tongue.gif cuz was trying my luck yesterday whether anyone will reply or not because my friend might bring her dog to the vet. Anyway, her pome now around 8 years. His condition now is like.. he's breathing heavily and very face. Like after we exercise, the sound heh heh heh.. some dog might experience this especially during hot weather. Actually since last time his dog used to it already. But dont know why this few days, his breathing so loud and heavy, and quite fast also.. Her mum went and ask the pet shop owner and they say it's due to dehydration. Anyone's doggy experience this before?

Pomeranian always afraid of hot whether.
So, if it is hot whether... Better not to bring the furkid go jogging lo~
But my dog also will breathing heavily after exercise... hmm.gif I dont find it unusual...Coz they always do. sweat.gif
Anyway, you can try to give glucose after exercise.
But I am not vet, I would not really know what happened to your dog.
So would really recommend you to go for vet if find your dog not normal as usual. blush.gif
