Destex and few people have the same problem while viewing darker image or while scrolling

btw, taking screenshot would not reproduce the problem to be shown to us. Taking a video or picture of your screen will do

He got flagged coz he flash different stock kernel into different stock firmware.

that issue is only when you have a pure black colour, but his screenshot does not have a pure black, so it's not the same thing.

about my issue, its widely discussed in xda and is present in the s4 also, its due to led not able to turn off fast enough when you scroll
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2462078

i find that the new 30mb update also tries to solve this problem as i can barely notice any purple ghosting at all if background white and black text in lowest brightness and even 40% lower than the lowest brightness. but it is very obvious if you have pure black background with white text as the text will turn purple at the edges.

of course it doesn't affect normal usage where our brightness is not super low.

a fix by using an app is also available, the app will overlay a nearly transparent white layer to make sure the black is not pure black, so the led does not off completely.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...anslab.sa&hl=en
this is the app, just adjust the contrast to around -7 to -10, the lowest your brightness, the lower your contrast needs to be adjusted, i tried -10, there's no difference in screen colours, maybe because our display is already over-contrast in the first place

Even if you flash a KNOX-enabled firmware via odin (e.g. the latest fw) knox will be set to 0x1

i wonder how and what will those service centre staff use to flash our phone
