im not a fan of samsung.. but i just wana share what i read this morning..
inb4 yes they cheat in certain way..

Phone company so desperate.
Nokia cheat by publishing photo ans video that shot with other cam. Scamsung cheat by inflating their chip performance. |

That site is the same site said S4 cheating also.
I don't see it cheating, Samsung correctly open all 4 cores when required, this is something LG never do. LG still run 1 core during benchmark. Even the site create the app to force Note 3 run 1 core, then end result Note 3 still faster than G2. |

Of course open all core when running benchmark.
Must be stupid not to do that. |

If benchmark score doesn't matter to the end user, then why scamsung have to cheat?
In the end no matter how you mislead the consumer, it is consider wrong. Who knows what else is scamsung lying to its customer? Just ask yourself would you buy from a dishonest seller in lowyat forum or any shop out there? Why not? |

I think you don't know what benchmark means. You're being ridiculous and nonsense. Stop all this bullshit now. |

QUOTE(lightning69 @ Oct 2 2013, 10:51 AM) Phone company so desperate. Nokia cheated? Lol , they were just simulating the type of situation that OIS typically work. In the end , when the phone released , did it work as mentioned? Yes. However , it was wrong of them to not include any disclaimer and such , that's why so many people got confused. Nokia cheat by publishing photo ans video that shot with other cam. Scamsung cheat by inflating their chip performance. Also , Nokia nowadays put disclaimers on every of their promotional videos. |

It's not just a matter of firing all cores,it's the fact that the CPU only ramps up to that clockspeeed when certain benchmark apps are detected. It doesn't ramp up as high when doing other tasks, that why it's called cheating. If Samsung doesn't fire all cores, then how to test? I think you don't know what benchmark means. If it ramp up to 3GHZ, then I call it cheating. Benchmark is to get all cores run at maximum speed. Nothing wrong with that. Benchmark mah. Of course benchmark maximum performance la. |
