That site is the same site said S4 cheating also.
I don't see it cheating, Samsung correctly open all 4 cores when required, this is something LG never do. LG still run 1 core during benchmark.
Even the site create the app to force Note 3 run 1 core, then end result Note 3 still faster than G2.

QUOTE(thatisazam @ Oct 2 2013, 11:07 AM) is more than opening all 4 cores, they are temporarily overclocks the processor during the process as well. regardless of the cheated score, note 3 is a very functional phone indeed regardless of overclocked or not. Ya, benchmark is just a guide, not important. The most important is user experience, how well the device get optimize or not. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Oct 2 2013, 11:09 AM

QUOTE(ckchan @ Oct 2 2013, 11:11 AM) perhaps that explains why some note3 user reporting running the benchmark test the 2nd time yield lower score? running the benchmark the 1st time, the proc overclock and give higher score, but at the same time overheated. and so running the 2nd time, the proc throttled down due to the overheat from 1st run... well, just my guess. I think is different batch processor issue. I run few times also score similar, those with lower score hardly get higher score unless the phone pretty cool. I face this issue last time in my Galaxy S III where nor-matter how hard I try, the scores always lower than expected where my colleague one, how long the phone being use, still run at expected scores. QUOTE(ckchan @ Oct 2 2013, 11:14 AM) true... in real life usage, it's hardly noticeable difference in performance. nowadays, i feel these benchmark score is merely for marketing purposes, just to show how powerful their device is to the mass market. Ya, it is.
