better wait 2014 batch.. new batch mean there always improvements. new batch have 6 airbag rite? and many small2 improvement sure.
maybe less percentage to face problem. and RV oso. acc not much prob, i use preve cfe for 47000km and 17months now, nor major prob, sometime gearbox sluggish/jerking when start moving. sometime overcrank after RnR when long journey thru grik-Jeli, and small prob such as steering buttons sometimes crazy, u push volume button...but fm channel change,sometime oni. some rattle sound from front door,myb something loose inside bcoz 2/3 time open doorcard panel for extra tinted and proton recall to change better power window coil spring.

thing i like about preve, u dont have to rev too high when tackle uphill thru gerik-Jeli road...bcoz torque is there. i mean normal speed for family man like me, 90-130km/h?
thing i hate, city driving..jam morning traffic. pickup is there,but come late. for me, use paddle shift put to 2nd gear,then its better during heavy traffic,start stop situation.

wah.. problem also same with me..
but here i want to give one tip for ovecranckiing...
when you notice that the car will overcrank, release brake.. then the car stop crancking..
then try start again..
usually mine take 3 times to start when overcranking occur..
and after start immediately release brake, than issue for 'push start button' appear on dashboard will not happen (maybe)..

yup, that exactly what i do when overcrank. 1more prob, head lamp bulb easy spoil. every 10000km spoil 1, either left or right. untill now, already 3 times, left right left. i dunno, mayb just mine...but qc engineer at tnjg malim claim quiet a number cases same with mine.

I thought all 2012 preve sold out?
Well 2013 pre-ancap version is getting 5.5k easily, so I dun see why should go for 2012 preve, unless you get more than 10k off.
2012 preve do not worth more than 60k now.

I would suggest its either heavily discounted year 2013 CFE (4 airbags only) or aim for the best discounted preve ancap 2013/2014

Finally get my 1k service done (at PJ Section 13 Service Center) and my R3 Bodykit on (CoSE)
Anyone interested with the bodykit can contact Anas (012 373 9294, R3 Division Exec at CoSE) polite and good service~~

Anyway....to confirm...the ANCAP Preve comes with EVP

I checked with Proton Old Klang Road.. only black available with 8K discount

5k for 2013 version

However although I like the car but I can't stand the noise which is too loud sacrificing comfort.. The Suprima does not have this issue. Heard that the noise issue improved on preve LE but no test car unit.

How the service from Sec. 13 SC? I heard a lot of good comments from there. Planning to get my 10k service over there.

The politeness of the staff is superb~~the guy Fazly tends to explain properly to me and offer me other products (X1-R)~~

BUT~~for 1k Service it took me a total 1.5 hours to finish~~if you dont have time~~dont go there~~

Quite good, they offer other products to you first, rather than just put in everything without inform us first.

btw, anyone here install grounding cables to your Preve? I'm planning to get my car install with the cables, read a lot of review with benefits, but rarely from Preve owners
