No mention of future Preve variants, although he said new variants will come with the VT3+. AFAIK currently only Preve LE is using VT3+ .

Maybe can jemput bro allenultra to check the part numbers  wub.gif
*
I'm not too sure, I din check the Preve LE yet but like Sanadi said...

EVP and VT3+, pretty much confirm.
In the future, Exora Bold/Preve will be equipped with VT3+ too.

Long time no join this forum already

Can i claim warranty on the rubber lining for my preve? Accidentally terkoyak. BTW, mine is the earlier batch, now have the following common problems.

1) Front windscreen got wind noise when go above 100 km/h
2) Rear quarter glass window got wind noise when go above 80 km/h
3) Got ngek ngek sound coming from rear passenger seat
4) Seat started to berbulu already
5) Rear boot carpet housing terkeluar
6) Rubber lining terkoyak

Seems that i need to frequent SC to get warranty claim for them..high
*
1. There is some recall for it, using glue to block some holes at cowl panel grille.
2. Already resolved, please visit SC
3. I think its more from the rear wheelhouse/parcel shelf than the seat
4. Go to SC and claim
5. Please post photos to be sure.
6. Same as 5

Hey guys. My Preve's steering wheel feels very "loose" lately. I wonder what's causing it. Can it be fixed at the SC?

My Preve is only 1 month old, btw.
*
It might be tyre pressure. Have you check on that? It does affect somehow.

Proton branch sells the car at recommend OTR price and only give 'official' discount authorized by Proton, dealer or agent is willing to cut some amount from their commission to further reduce the price.

But buying from dealer has its 'risk', either good after sales service or bad one.
*
You can always buy from dealer and service else where.
My personal opinion, dealers do provide better after sales service as compared to branches.

Why?
For dealers, its their own businesses. Unless the management want to let the business down, else they will try their best to work on service quality etc.
As for branches? Its more about the brand name than the service quality. Public commonly thought that branch should offer better service but look at COSE? whistling.gif whistling.gif whistling.gif

that depending on which CVT variant, the Premium or Executive.

List of official recall by Proton so far for each variant break down:

Premium CVT [CFE]
- VVT
- OWV
- oil hose coupler
- airbag harness rerouting

Executive MT [IAFM]
- gear tendang issue
- radio software (clock delay)

Executive CVT [IAFM]
- radio software (clock delay)

All are solved anyway, long long time ago

i wanted to buy Preve and i being told that got unregistered Preve manufactured 2012 with rebate 7k. Should i take it and are there any differences for Preve manufacture in 2012 compare to Preve manufacture in 2013? I mean in term of spec and performance.
*
I thought all 2012 preve sold out?
Well 2013 pre-ancap version is getting 5.5k easily, so I dun see why should go for 2012 preve, unless you get more than 10k off.
2012 preve do not worth more than 60k now.

I would suggest its either heavily discounted year 2013 CFE (4 airbags only) or aim for the best discounted preve ancap 2013/2014

I checked with Proton Old Klang Road.. only black available with 8K discount

5k for 2013 version

However although I like the car but I can't stand the noise which is too loud sacrificing comfort.. The Suprima does not have this issue. Heard that the noise issue improved on preve LE but no test car unit.
*
The best way for you to confirm is to join Prevoc FB.
We have Preve LE owners over there.
And tons of pre-ANCAP Preve owners too

60k sum insured for CFE specs, premium expected to be around RM1.4k++, with 25% NCD.

Highly suggest that you go with one of the Proton Insurance Program panel insurance companies. Especially any of them that offer agreed value clause.

Its the same. Just that most dealers willing to give more discount (from retail price) to get more sales.

Oh, so there won't be any problem in term of claiming warranty etc?
*
As long as the car being bought from any Proton Edar branch/dealer, and service at all appointed Proton Edar branch/dealer service centre.

If you ask me, I would buy from the outlet with the most discount and freebies and then service at the outlet that provide the best after sales service.

Bonnet soundproofing? I find it so so.

Try floor panel soundproofing, doors (minimum a layer, decent will be two layers, audio package 3 layers) and roof

terryble, better than nothing fix would be engine mounting with fuel line hose DIY.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/preveowners...52291501463018/

Permanent method would be changed to latest Suprima S engine mounting.

can u actually ask proton to change ur mounting to suprima one?
*
Unless you able to convince the dealer that the engine mounting is faulty, they will order the latest revision (suprima S version, or you can request for it if they allow, depend on your negotiation skill)
