QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Dec 3 2013, 03:26 PM) does this setting mean to reconnect to the internet to get a new ip address ? hm so it's not just me.... that is good to know i'll highlight this to my friend who works for tmnut. Yeah. The lease will be the same as long as you don't disconnect. You could try confirming with TM what DHCPv6 lease lifetime are they using so we can better understand what happens when it happens. Hi, If u using ipv6-test.com sometimes it will show no IPv6 eventhough you have it. For this site the trick is to use only IPv6 dns and temporarily disable IPv4 dns before running the test. Enable back after the test. Other sites like test-ipv6.com or ipv6test.google.com don't have this symptom I notice. You might want to run test on these 2 sites first to confirm working IPv6 before running at ipv6-test.com

it depends on your dns resolver, your OS stack will try to resolve ipv4/ipv6. whichever reply comes first, it will use that. that's why even if you are dual-stacked, some requests will go through ipv4 although the destinations have both enabled.

You aren't getting your prefix from Unifi. FE80 is the IPv6 local addresses

Hi, if you go into OpenWRT -> Network -> Interfaces, does your br-lan interface have a 2001:e68 address ? If you don't have the 2001 address on either LAN or WAN after configuring IPv6 it could mean your area have no IPv6 yet.

I can't seem to even follow step 1 of the pdf document. Edit: Just noticed the top right corner of this post. I guess you don't need to follow step 1? This post has been edited by kyosukekisaragi: Dec 7 2013, 11:49 PM

I have created a guide (based on klseet's) for IPv6 on OpenWRT (D-Link DIR-615). If anyone's interested, this is the link: http://blog.yjwong.name/openwrt-with-tm-unifi-router/
