Did some macros today when there's light rain. But it was near dusk so I have to boost up the ISO. Using built-in flash also. Critiques are welcomed.

QUOTE(mingyuyu @ Nov 21 2013, 08:12 PM) Ya using Raynox and my Nikkor 35mm. I cropped for composition and better magnification, But, I'm satisfied with this quality. Edit: Correction. The first one also cropped And those are Kerengga (ants too in Eng). Big kind of ants, normal ants can't even focus. This post has been edited by copperwire93: Nov 21 2013, 08:22 PM |

Awesome photos bro!» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Especially #1! In-flight shots are not easy at all yo As for the other photos, let's just say ants are a bit too common, a bit hard to get very special shots haha |

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Nov 21 2013, 08:51 PM) Awesome photos bro! Thanks man. I took many shots, only 6 are okay. Especially #1! In-flight shots are not easy at all yo As for the other photos, let's just say ants are a bit too common, a bit hard to get very special shots haha I'm excited to see the weaver ants fixing their nest after heavy downpour. QUOTE(sonyman @ Nov 21 2013, 08:53 PM) Can use Raynox 250 conversion lens like I did, cost like RM300+ I think. But, of course, the quality is not par as dedicated macro lens. |

QUOTE(copperwire93 @ Nov 21 2013, 09:11 PM) that's normal for every macro shooter, you wanna get good shot you have to sacrifice most bugs will hide under damp and dark places and when you search for them to take pictures, that's the time those nyamuk will rape you gao gao and you don't even realise since you are so concentrated on getting good shot |
