Well i bought the promo things. Two sets. Got some good cards. Nut somehow i keep getting living nighmare. Already got 6 of those. For a rare card, it feels less of a rare now lol. Next month target, get two box of fw sets to unlock them in altar of wishes.

just bought seals my first time yesterday coz of the deal for the boxes. Man got lots of nice and new cards now saving for academy deck coz i got so many academy cards from the packs and no academy hero for me lol.

I can see academy creatures being used to totally dominate board due to their abilities like evade as well as shockwave. Effectively, a creature can be used to block two attacks before taking any real damage assuming there's space on the board with the evade.

Shockwave has an interesting mechanic as you can target empty board planes to deal AOE damage to creatures around that. Gives you board control but slowly down the progression against killing off the enemy hero.

Academy faction are frustrating.. I hate fighting them in swiss. always using magic channeling + phased creature that make me piss off due to my creature heavy deck and not enough board clearance to get me back in the game. Always lose by 2-3 life points

well, for academy, there are 3 heroes that comes to mind:

Ammar - the op draw power, which relies on 3 creatures most of the time

Akane - majorly spell deck with some creatures, prolly 35 spells and 15 creatures or so

Hakeem - mill deck, which can kill you by discarding everything by turn 10 or so

core academy creatures are the magic channel basic creatures, halsafah, raksasha and gargoyles

some may opt to put in spell stealer and golems

hmm academy really sounds interesting cant wait till i buy the starter deck to try em out.

Just had a match against adam20. Was a pretty interesting Inferno fight. He was more of a rush deck i assume, and im more of a control deck.

rush deck match will decide by around round 6-8, if above that most likely rush deck will lose
