i'm waiting for the asus as well .. yup.. i think digitizer is a must for tablet with "desktop" based OS.. choosing the wrong options when doing system administration tasks can be disastrous...
Digitizer... damn... damn... damn... I don't think my wife would approve of that
Check if the pad works with an Android device if you have any?
shouldn't the pad just report itself as a mouse and if Android has the ability to display a mouse cursor it should just work? Or does Android not work like that?
Good - Simple one piece cover + stand that doesn't add much bulk
Con - in order to be able to fold, the front cover actually feels flimsy - there weren't any real instructions on how to fold it... just 3 icons on the box... - Gets in the way of holding it up in portrait mode and typing on the keyboard.
turn off panel auto refresh Desktop - right click - graphic properties - power - Turn off monitor energy saving
try this 2 setting (device not at my site now, above path may not be correct)
there's a display power saving under what you mentioned. Interesting.. but I have a theory that the flickering only occurs at low brightness, so let me try out some more first.
Wow, I just found out a weakness of these tiny Rapoo keyboard. The lightweight construction really means flimsy material. My stupid 1.5 years old son step on it and it did bent slightly. Luckily he did not step it on the floor, otherwise the bending would be worse. Managed to bend it back to normal... Looks like I cant place it everywhere after I used it.
1.5 years old isn't stupid lar, they just don't know any better. I nearly died when my son stepped on the W5 when he was 1.5 years old as well!
Anyway, it's likely that it's just a membrane keyboard so there's no real circuitry to break, it's only the frame that's bent.
I placed my order last month then they cancelled it, said it is out of stock, then 2days ago i received their email notification saying the product is available now, I placed my order again. This afternoon they send me an sms said it has been cancelled due to stocks ran out again....
The perils of being a middleman service, they don't actually know how much the stock actually is.
My first son already knew all my items are prohibited when he was 1.5 years old. Just this 2nd one a bit barbarian. May be need some manners lessons. Always step my gadgets and very fond to abuse the home button on my ipad and wife's iPhone.
Feel like my hands could use some exercises.
Off topic now
How many kids do you have? Just 2? Word of advice from one father to another, how kids grow up differs even if they are brothers, even if you've been teaching them and taking care of them in the exact same way. So don't assume because one is like that the other also the same?
bought a w3 keyboard just now. connects fine and feels more like a laptop/netbook now.
problem is, keyboard not connecting upon waking up. have to disable/enable bluetooth on w4.
any idea why?

Hmm... all BT keyboards I've used all are 'attached' to the device one. Never had to toggle BT, just press some keys on the keyboard and it connects automatically.
Crunch Cover review for those of you who are interested.
Funny story.. when uploading and editing the video, bloody Lazada ad for the crunch cover came up, it's on sale at RM88 now though god knows if they have stock or not...
is not a free games, manage to google and demo on Acer W511 with smooth playing. so i guess W4 wont be any issue at all
You didn't see the video I posted on top? The W4 and all other portrait default Windows tablets won't be able to support Spartan Assault until they fix their code.
