Will the engine automatically turn off when we were away from the car? I'm talking bout GK5 v spec
*
No, the engine will not be turned off.
1 real case happened to my friend. He was in rush for movie, park the car & walk off leaving engine running & key inside the car!
He went back to his car after the movie & the car still there! Lucky him!

RM600 to 700 i think

I remember 100k is due to spark plugs and 80k is due to fuel strainer / filter for GK.

But for GE not sure why at 40k already gotten a fuel filter change and another one at 80k.

Seems like all the jazz owners are either very busy or very quiet laugh.gif

Anyway, wanna check with you all whether you all experience any starter motor problem?

Changed mine under warranty but it seems like the problem still persists. Read a few owners also had this problem.

Well, sorry to say that you usually don't have much choice. You will most probably be getting some +42 if i am not wrong if you buy taiwan rims.

If you have 17 x 7jj and that offset. I think usually very seldom you will get fender rub issues. But, if you say 215/45/17, then it might be a problem as 205 is actually already a risk especially if you plan to lower your car.

I have mine lowered but i had to raise it back slightly due to rubbing.

Can you please describe the starter problem...? As in it's hard to start the car like battery starting to die, but it's not exactly batt problem...?

Yes, it's like a poorly charged battery and the starter has no power to crank the engine.

It'll crank 1 time and pause for 1-2 seconds, then only it'll crank. rclxub.gif

I don't think it is a starter problem. The problem is intermittent right?

I heard it has something to do with the immobilizer where the key twists or something temporarily cutting it for a short while. It happens to me once in a while also.

Oh is it? I had honda SC diagnose it for me and they say it's the starter problem and it's quite common. After I changed it, it went away for at least 2-3 months. Then it came back but not as bad as last time. That's why I kinda annoyed and changed the car laugh.gif

I doubt that is the root cause of the problem. Starter problems usually is very consistent. It either works or it don't

No, i went and ask a couple of service centers while my car was still services in service centers and they sort of game me the same answer over my suspicion. Cause, it seems to happen a lot more if i grab the key at the end where the key ring is and turn.

So, i started to suspect it was that.

It doesn't make sense to me as well as the immobilizer cheap is yay small and should not be affected by the plastic body twisting. But, they seemed to say that is the case.
