Hi anybody knows for sure that the new jazz promo with Honda tint (eco tint) comes with a receipt? My car has the eco tint sticker but I did not receive any receipt. My friend has the same variant and Has a copy of the receipt for warranty purpose.

My SA said they normally don't give receipt.

Thanks in advance!

I got the certificate from eco tint for the warranty. Maybe that is what you meant by receipt? Should check with SA on that.

Yes the certificate. Called my SA earlier but he is not sure if he could reproduce the cert as he mentioned was already inserted together in my service booklet. I did not find my cert there.

I just want to make sure I actually got the eco tint as promised.

Thanks anyway!

Reputable shop got already. Problem is that not many have done it in malaysia. Even if done, not done properly.

So there are doubts and risks involved in the project which is a sure thing unless you can sink an insurmountable amount of money into it.

This i believe is the nearest example to a very near perfect swap in malaysia. Even with the money spent {reportedly to be 80k}, they still have stuff not working like the tacho because they could not get the dash to communicate properly via canbus protocol. Electronics is actually the biggest headache in a swap like this.

U should see the honda fit scene in thailand. I think there is the biggest trend on mods.

It is like abnormal to own a stock fit over there.

It is quite common over there.

But i know quite some also runs without abs and stuff like that. And, you do need to part with your car for quite some time in order for it to happen.

Doing it in thailand has the advantahe that you are not the lab rat la.

I run 95 majority of the time.

Friend of mine on a City says his RON97 and RON100 gets better mileage, something like 14kpl vs 12kpl on RON95. Same route, same traffic conditions everyday to and fro workplace.

But, after calculating. The costs is actually negligible.

Unless there is pre-donation / engine knocking. It doesn't quite optimize itself running on 97.

Most friends said there are benefits of using ron97 against ron95 such as better milage etc.....however i read once in <link removed> and they do the testing on it....the result.... No beneficial at all with regards with better mileage etc.....higher ron only applicable if u are running on turbo engine....NA engine no need for ron97 or ron100..... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

There is la... but, the benefits are just so minuscule i do not know if it make sense or not? If you drive your car very hard on the other hand. I think RON97 / RON100 might be of some good in the long run.

If you run something high compression like the Suzuki Swift Sport's M16A, Honda K20A family of motors. Those would definitely benefit from it too. More power, a little bit more responsiveness due to less retardation of the ignition timing.
