Not yet. I still waiting blurjoey to review. Either mijia or +360 2nd Gen to buy. In China, reviews are in favour of Mijia > +360 2nd which seems weird to me since +360 1nd gen more favour than mijia/yi cam in some review.
*
china reviewers' reviews 80% no trustworthy

heard those being hired to work as "online reviewers" earn few thousand ringgit per month after currency conversion

far better than any local graduates earnings

thus now really got a sense/trend of "飘向北方“ among malaysia/sg seeing our economy

Actually on the mijia is clearer than the Yi for both night and day... Only the mijia have a darker video which I hope new firmware will fix this...
*
yup, scene color reproduction - mijia seems makes a better job, guess its sony sensor, like the panasonic one also almost the same scene color.

but darken and lack of details on both side at night scene no good for many circumstances that involve road side matter such as snatch thief incidents

maybe yi cam firmware already tune the color/exposure mixing to make night scene side details much better so scarify true color production

I small ciku only... A119/A119S still my favorite...
Got the ~ahem~ version from youtube...
I also not sure when I can get a review unit... Unless my friend can help me buy from China for me...
*
carry in for u? then good.

if by courier, better don now, our customs changes since february 2017, all targeting china stuffs - so so so so many kena tax, even ppl juz bought shirt n shorts - rm30-40 only end up paying tax around 100 (tax+ handling fees all that...), so total around rm150... better go local store buy better quality shirt

haha ok  tongue.gif

You can also try Davinci Resolve, which is really good for a free software. I just installed this a few days ago.
Same here wanted to buy and see mijia, suddenly see got 360 2nd gen with extra gps and parking monitoring as well, about the same price as mijia for the cheapest version.
Not only color... clarity also suffers, number plates aren't that clear. They should tone down the exposure/or wdr thing.
sure bo... did you kena also?
*
customs change blood - new persons in charge now

also there is news that putrajaya already form a special task force to tackle china stuffs which under-declare, false declare all kind. any amount can tax you, not necessarily over rm500 only kena, they have the final say. there already got ppl mentioned in serious kopitiam thread, one forumer uploaded his tax document as well.

looks like this is one of collateral damage letting jack ma to come in couple of months later setting up big distribution warehouse in klia.

SUV rear... The mount easy drop when u open n close the boot. Top ceiling is Fibre type can mount on it.
*
use the third brake light - plastic bracket

drill hole - 4 small holes

apply plastic cable tie to tie and fasten on cam adapter

juz a matter 'heart break' or not to do sth on the bracket

for sedan car whereby third brake light is sit on rear dashboard, after drill hole & tie on adapter, the cam will sit on top of third brake light with upside down.

need to get a dashcam that can auto rotate image 180 degree if put upside down - e.g Mehome MC6

I use this method to stick my cam hehe so far no problem. Tidak tertanggal.
*
you need to check recorded video from time to time, did video image start shaking/blurring then need to restick again

although gadget not falling it does not guarantee the recorded video image is stable enough compare to sticking directly to solid windscreen

https://shopee.com.my/SAMSUNG-32GB-CL10-MIC....671203.2998198

fishy?

anyone use Samsung evo for dash cam? thinking to get one backup..currently using sandisk ultra..

comparing sandisk high endurance/lexxar 633/Samsung evo
*
micro sd card is juz like engine oil

get from reputable seller - unless u know that seller online, otherwise go to pc shop to buy, not even try at phone shop or kiosk

some phone shop get grey import stock, not fake, but no local distributor warranty, anything happen need back to booth and yell for warranty...

many selling fake samsung/sandisk/kingston from cn

local stock always got distributor name & address sticker there

last time before lazada took over by alibaba they offered generous voucher that manage to buy few ringgit only samsung card 16gb after discount, got mine from a dealer in kotaraya kl luckily it was authentic card. that dealer also sell many mi stuffs, forgot the name already.

Is rear cam important? I see some products do not include rear cam. What is the recommended rear cam (only) in the market?
*
if intended stick to window, any standalone cam would do. juz another cam.

if wanna mount on the case of third brake light, and a sedan car - then pick a auto rotate screen cam , since u r going to put the cam upside down mounting on the casing of brake light which at the rear dashboard. if hatchback car - third brake light at top, then can pick normal cam because no need upside down mounting.

Mehome MC6 can auto rotate. others i don know.

Looks like rebranded of some China dashcams. Looks like those dashcams from Anytek.

Their latest flagship, Vision1 with 1080p, WeChat functions and GPS navigation for rm700+. Haven't seen any dashcams with these features yet...

nowadays park at road side couple of minutes also can be victim ... my area one electrical wireman said lately juz park road side, went into client house to fix some wire. came out already pecah window stealing his valueable repairing stuffs in the 4x4... that rear windows cost him thousands already bcoz local no ready spare part, kereta potong there also no available.... window + stolen stuffs = few thousands loss already

users need to buy high end micro sd card liao for this cam (soon many getting fake samsung card or generic card would start complain cam no good..haha)

5V 2A port... although indicating average power consumption <4 w, guess it would surge beyond 5w at some times

real time H.265 encoding also need great power from processor, assuming heat generation also high, making it design the casing larger for better ventilation (saw many holes there....)

this time using huawei chipset Hi 3556

for that pricing selling a 2.7k cam it would create another market disaster wave for other cam makers (revenge xiaomi ke....)

yea saw alot of complains about missing/half videos not recording issues on the forums, most likely sdcard related.

do you know what other cams that is using this chipset?  hmm.gif
*
don know... mine Mehome MD2 and MC6 is using huawei HI 31xx series + panasonic sensor, ok

that ddpai also being using huawei chipset for long time, guess they may incorporate this new chip into their latest range of products?

I see. So far those cams with the huawei ones no problems?
*
heat matter sure got. 31xx series vs 35xx series then unknown

cannot simply judge based on early generation chips

Intel chips also falled behind AMD architecture in some early time 10 years ago

juz one key question to ask users: do you really need 2.7k dashcam?

wat if 6 mth later manufacturer pop up with new 4k cam and "pushing" users to "upgrade"?

juz determine what purpose one want to serve and get relevant stuff is enough

some more the TOTAL COST OF OWNERSHIP for that 2.7k would not be cheap considering must get a genuine high end fast micro sd card to work for it (>80mb/s), and nowadays micro sd card market prices are quite expensive compare to 1 or 2 years ago...

Just imagine having to get 128GB UHS3 microSD card or bigger to cater to 4K laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Also, have to consider if ppl are willing to spend more than rm500+++ for a real 4K dashcam or not is another question.

There is are some fake 4K dashcams in the market now which the 4K is interpolated.
*
next time manufacturer would post video that can spot ghost on the road with 4k cam - c very clear mah biggrin.gif

car plate number clarity? was past century topic loh
