Can get this for A119 but lose the GPS function
http://www.viofo.com/home/50-suction-cup-m...ash-camera.html

Or can get Viofo WR1 which comes with both suction mount and tape mount.

Bro blurjoey, is it true what you said earlier that Viofo is also coming out with 2 channel version of the A119? Any indicative timeline on this? biggrin.gif

Viofo said it's in the timeline but didn't confirm when. There is also a wifi version of A119 coming too.

I tested my in car temperature today. My temperature gauge limit is up to 70 degree Celsius & placed @ the front windscreen where my a118c will be.

I went to check @ 2.30 pm today where the sun was shining as bright as it can be. Went in to check & my temperature gauge paint melted with no digits shown which means that temperature is more than 70 degree celcius possibly 80 degrees (the digits came back soon after when temps. drop below 70). ohmy.gif

Now have serious doubts as to whether my a118c will survive or even the a119 ohmy.gif

Also my front windscreen has a quality tint with 85% IR reduction of heat dry.gif

Dude. I've been using the A119 for quite a while now (more than 8 months iinm), and I park outdoors during work from 8am to 6pm straight. It's still working perfectly like normal and I'm sure your A118 will survive the same. Although I put tint on my car windows laaa.

My car is parked outside everyday in Cyberjaya sun and rain. Using LLumar Diamond 6 tint, no issues with my A119 and A119S since day 1 until today.

I don't have any temperature gauge to measure but it's hot like hell when I got into my car at 530pm today.

If you still doubt this, can visit me in Cyberjaya near the McD if you're around.

Today was crazy as my car was packed there the whole day. Open the door and heat came out. Lucky my suction mount mirror that I use to keep an eye on the child seat didn't fall down. Usually it does under got days.

Maybe they use xray scanners? Battery detectors?

For Viofo A119 dash cam, are there 2 versions? Viofo A119 & Viofo A119 V2

For the V2 version with GPS, seems that got big price difference. Or is there something that I missed...? hmm.gif

V2 is they fixed connectors on the A119 and GPS mount only. V1's GPS mount have connection issues and will constantly restart due to the connectors. That's all!

Banggood still selling the A119 (confirmed V2 by those who bought from banggod) with 20% off coupon and cheaper than Lazada

Thanks for the link. So it is confirm that this product is V2 although not stated there.
How about warranty? Not stated.

BTW, is it necessary to add shipping insurance?

Do they provide warranty? Noticed in their site is not stated how long etc.
Or for that matter if any warranty is provided at all.
